Hi Tension68 – First my apologies as I never meet up with anybody from SBF, but I would like to take this opportunity to suggest that my suggestions to NOT meet up with others via SBF, (as per my thread ” HIDDEN DANGERS! Detect/avoid scammer stealth agents/crooks when Cheonging overseas."
https://sbf.today/showthread.php?t=508851) does NOT really apply for Hong Kong.
Pimping in Hong Kong is criminal and always the main focus for Police action; only well organized and powerful syndicates dare to operate and the local market is so large that there is no need for them to operate as low-class as how the SBF crook stealth agents operate. Too rinky-dink, too cheap-ass!
Also, Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption has so much teeth that kick-backs – the main way that SBF crook stealth agents make their money - are just NOT available.
And the fact of the matter is that the Hong Kong sex scene is so open, most services on offer are so easily accessible/available via various sources that there is no need for even the most timid monger to engage any guide/agents.
So what I am saying is that if any Samsters want to respond to your invitation to meet up in Hong Kong, I believe that it should be OK/you shouldn’t worry about coming-a-cropper and end up meeting up with a crook stealth agent, as you would most likely do for most other destinations.
I am posting this as I know that Hong Kong is a tough place for making friends and I believe that Singaporeans like mixing with each other – and I’ve been worrying that my above thread on crooks may discourage/scare some of you from meeting up.
On the other hand though, you all must still maintain your usual caution. Besides for sex related matters/crook stealth agents, there ARE lots of other types of scams all over the world and of course also in Hong Kong. If you feel uncomfortable/the least bit suspicious of your new friend(s), then best to just walk away. And of course I would suggest you think twice before you agree to go mongering into China together with your new friend.
