Except that when I first ask a ML I will just ask for rough location first so point 1 applies a bit differently for me. This is largely because I am foot soldier. I guess drivers will not worry too much about location, most places in sg can reach 30mins for drivers. For foot soldiers it can be 1 hour for me sometimes.
so for me
1. Text politely ask for rough location (not exact usually they will be wary if you ask for exact), that will usually get a response. Some more enthu one will tell you more specific location and let you know what time available for the same day already
2. Check the timing I like and work around it depending on available time
3. Confirm with w 早上/下午/晚上 xx 点 见, sometimes the timing also not safe one later they mix up morning or night. To me that is confirmation already, unless they girl respond with negative saying fully booked already. Most will reply with a affirmative 嗯 to close it.
4. Usually 2-3 hours before the session I will remind her to drop me exact address. Important to foot soldiers ya to know how to plan my route, not all locations built equal. I also give more buffer in case she miss it, one hour before cuts it too close. A reminder sms maybe 1h 5mins before if she did not respond, so I know if I need to leave home or not. This also reassures the ML you won’t aeroplane.
5. Slowly make my way down. Usually will reach with some time to spare, go some nearby place take a drink or wait at somewhere nearby convenient but not the exact location. More often than not the location she gave won’t be the location cos they need to check, so no point hanging around at that exact location. I will drop a message saying I’m nearby let me know how to enter when it’s convenient for her.
The above works almost 95% of the time. Never kena any last minute aeroplane other than those really screw up ones like just realize double book, happens to my regular MLs usually after they got too comfy with me.
