The male orgasmic reflex is followed by a refractory period
of minutes to hours, during which a male is not capable of
another orgasm. The human female does not experience
this refractory period and, given the appropriate stimulus,
is capable of repeatedly experiencing orgasms. This pattern
is called "
Multiple Orgasm".
