Thanks to the useful information from bros in this thread, finally made my virgin trip to Batam solo at almost 40 years old.

It's pretty much a touch-&-go kind of trip so just writing a brief summary for Batam newbies like me.

Made my booking with Venus & Octopus 2 days before my trip. Yusi(Venus) for massage/hj & Tata(Hallo Kitty) for fj. Prompt replies from both places. Can request girl photos as well so you can take your time to choose

Came in to Batam on the 1030am ferry. Had a quick breakfast in Mega Mall just a 3 min walk away before heading to Venus using Grab.

Lengkuas 33 Fish Soup
Pro :Food is always amazing there, soup wise tastes better on Thursday than on Saturday maybe due to the large crowd on Saturday.
Have to add on their deep fried prawn and fried Batang Fish
Con : Extremely crowded on weekends

strongly recommended!

Balerang Seafood

Pro : Freshest Seafood I had in Batam as compared to wey wey, Kelong Baba Etc
Server will invite you to witness taking of seafood from the kelong which is just a couple of mins of walk from dining area.
Chinese taste bud, fresh seafood just steam.
Next time will aim for Flower Crab season for eggs

Con : around an hour drive away from Batam Center area, expect heavy jam if during peak hour. Located in Harris Resort

Massage Review:

Venew Spa
Day 1 Abtel , Petite Size, comparable more fluent in English and —20% from photo still consider fairer skin as compared to the rest. Massage wise not as good as due to her size she’s unable to massage strong enough thought great service for HJ

Day 2 Olin , Petite Size, ok only English standard and -30% from photo, darker skin typical Indo girl skin tone. Massage wise also not as good due to her size. Great Service for HJ and very accommodating

Day 3 Lala, Bigger size than above 2, can’t speak English well, need to use translation app to communicate. around 160cm +/-. -30% from photo, dark skin
Massage wise ok.

Type of crowd : Mostly Indo local crowd
Experience : A lot worst than what we have experienced previously. OKT is looking at every group of girls once u approached will ask for 1 juta, seems like a trend now for golden Tiger. Full of party girl.

Golden Tiger used to be the best club in batam but now not longer fun.

Day 3 : Angel’s Wing
Crowd : Almost full, jam packed
Music : English, Manyao and some Indo song
Type of crowd : Mostly Indo Chinese Crowd.
Experience: Went there at 10.30pm as booking can be only kept till 10.30pm. 30% full at 10.30pm. Local Band sing from 10.30-12.15, mostly English, Mandarin and some Indo music

From 12:15 EDM with mostly English music and some Mandarin and Indo music, first DJ Bepri good, 1.30am onwards second DJ, Dux very bad, always change song at high beat.

A few of the sofa is seated by rich Indo tycoons where they have their own security guards and Indo local ladies will gather near those tycoons table. Indo Chinese girls usually comes with their own group of guys friends and it’s usually ring fenced quite tightly.

Would like to have guru advice on how to know and drink together with those Indo Chinese girls? What dating apps can be used to match with them?

Heads up on potential scam. Not sure if any bros here encountered such an experience.
I had just tapow nasi Padang at a road side stall and was going to get a Grab back when a guy on a motorcycle stopped and asked me if I know where Batam Centre is. Mind you this was in Penuin at 10.30pm.
I told him he was a long way off his destination when he started saying how his wife’s purse got stolen and there was like SGD2k in it and the hotel staff lent him a bike to go to Batam Centre to report his loss with the Singapore consulate (consulate still open at 10.30pm meh?)
What’s even weirder was he had a kid like 3 or 4 yrs old straddling the front of the bike. So I told him to go ask any hotel security for directions. He mumbled something and I just carried on walking until I reached Savrano Hotel and waited for my ride.
Like 10mins later this same fella rides up and yells “I still cannot find Batam Centre!
By this time I’m like WTF dude and just then my ride pulls up and I waved the biker and his kid off.
So bros - any of you guys came across such a thing in Batam?

It was probably early 2023 that I encountered a Malay guy in a motorbike pillioning a girl (wearing a Tudung) about 16 -18 yr old in the rear backseat. As he was explaining to me his sob story, he kept looking around as I am very near my hotel already (in which the security guard knew me as I am a regular). Then due to my curiosity, I ask him how on earth did you manage to rent or get a bike when you lost all your belongings? He told me the hotel he stayed, the working staff lent it to him (Clearly this is farking HORSEHIT) so that he could ride it Batam consulate and get help. He even pull out a PINK IC to prove to me he is Singaporean. But the moment I wanted to take a closer look, he pull it back and keep it into his pocket. (It was quite dark with no street lights at that time NEAR Peniun Market). But I can almost make out its was written Chinese (Hokkien) name printed on the IC.


He asked if I could give him money to buy the ferry tickets, in which of course I told him NO…… and told I am a poor guy I do not bring so much money to Batam. In which, I am surprised that he took it quite well and left me alone. In fact, I am prepared to bait him to my hotel, because hotel have security cams and I knew all my hotel security guards and receptions. After that he rode away and left me alone.


To all Bros, next time if this happens to you, just walk to a brighter, crowded areas, shopping malls, any hotel’s lobby.

My experience with Delta Spa was very bad…..that was about 1 year back.
I remember there was several packages to choose from and I choose the Swedish mud-bath (something like that, can’t remember), incl massage and a HJ. The interior of Delta was exquisite. There is sauna on the 1st Level and you walk to the 2nd floor is the waiting hall. The lights were quite bright at that time, reminds me of Health Centers in JB. I still remember it was 11am (just open) and there are already guests waiting in the hall. There is one group of 3 and another individual (seems like on a business trip based on his attire) from Singapore apart from me.


All of us were brought to the room around the same time because the girls are all ready. (which you cannot choose). Upon reaching the room I am all shocked. The walls of the are not sealed up!!! . Meaning the walls of the room are only up to my eye level. Mind you, my height is above average, if I tip toe, I think can see the person on the other side. That is a total turn off to me, because there is no total privacy!!!!


My massage lady came in. Looks is okay , speaks very little English. She prepare my mud massage preparations , and I am slide into a mud bag for about 30 mins (cant remember the time). For bros who appreciate good designs, clean place ( I mean cleanliness of the place), privacy is not an issue, many types of Swedish Mud Bath services, than Delta Spa is for you.

For Bros who treasure privacy, and “do not want to hear about others conversation and do mind about your conversation being heard, then suggest you skipped this treacherous place. Additionally the place is not cheap too.


For Bros who want just ONLY strong massage, I recommend Venew or Venus or Butterfly (usually inc one HJ). BUT I must stress you must overcome their looks because this is for good massage only. Penuin Area, there are also lots of “clean” massages too if you want strong massage. All of them are quite cheap , good and efficient.


For Bros who want full service plus okay massage, go to Octopus or FAME SPA. You can choose TH1 or TH2 for OCTOPUS. For Fame Spa , you cannot choose the gal. BUT one trick I learnt is that you can change the gal ONCE immediately if you do not like her looks, BUT only Once.
