It's been a while and I think it's time to update the sauna's I've got to know so far since I really like this discussion forum and would like to thank all of you to contribute and learn. You provided me with a lot of good information in English which I need since I'm Swiss and not Singaporean. I learned to get to know some interesting places during my time in Shanghai. I'd like to summarize some of the Sauna places I know that should still be in operation.

Cross-Section: Wuzhong Lu X Hongshu Lu (吴中路 X 红许路) b
-Merrillin Dazong Sauna Club (turn before the entrance to the hotel right). I really like to friendliness of this place - it's very basic and it offers price for value (I belive it must RMB 700 now). The girls are not very experienced which I like, they seemed to me more fresh than other places such as 999 or Heting.

-Heting at Siping Lu 777. Nice manager who speaks good English - Good service but too many people and a little bit far away for me.

-999 at Shanghai Stadium - a lot of written - I checked it out once - very crowded - but definitely good service - even the girl said to me 'oh lauwei and told me she doesn't like them much'.

-Hai Lang Xiu Xian Hui Suo, 1277 Zhong Shan Xi Lu, you need to pass the building from the right and then comes a small side street on the left. It's the SECOND door. Price was RMB880. People are very friendly. However, the experience I got with the girls were not that good. The first one turned me down because I am a Westerner? -Baishen 百盛会所Anhua road close to Jingsu road 安化路，从江苏路小转弯进, Price is RMB700, there is a big gate which is open, you just pass it and normally a guy with with radio will approach you to get you in. I think the place is very friendly, however, the facility is not top notch. However, I think it's value for money. The girls are normally good as well.

-Happy Garden Sauna - cost is more than 1'000 (I think it is actually RMB1'100)- it's quite expensive, crowded and the girls I received were quite big. They gave a good normal massage though first, which is really different from other places. The manager (owner) is from Hong Kong quite arrogant. There are two places one at the intersection yan an lu/fanyu lu (next to the Howard Johnson Suite) hotel, the other at tongren lu next to Malone's (famous pub in Shanghai). However, the last one I have not checked out myself.
