ALL Chinese girls (well.. at least 99%) are scheming, regardless of region. It in the culture and blood. In order to beat them in their own game, we have to be extremely cautious and once one gets even remotely attached, it is time to leave. Most of us have families back home... these women, no matter how good they treat you or perform in bed, are just passing phases... families are different... they will stick by you no matter what. Shanghainese are the worst I've encountered so far though. Being brought up in a highly materialistic society, money and other agendas are always on their mind. Young girls are told by parents that they should look for guys with a lot of money and not guys who would love and take care of them. This came out from the GF of my friend... who is now hopelessly trapped... god bless his soul. He kept thinking "She's different... She's the ONE!" Well.. I can only hope beyond all hopes that he's right.... Horror stories I have heard many. It never cease to amaze me what these women can bring themselves to go through in order to achieve their aims. One woman spent many years with a Singapore guy before getting married, and right after getting her Singapore passport, 180 degrees change! Can you imagine the shock of the guy? People always say, time will tell.. but how long before it will tell? I dare not say anymore.. it's just to scary to think about it... KTV girls... hundred foot pole distance.. if paying to screw, that's fine.. anything more.. NO WAY HO SEY!! These are a "special" breed, skilled in the art of draining a guy dry. The maintenance of this specific species is extremely high.... if they zero in on you... beware, as they will do everything within their means to get what they want.. you being married or not is not a point of consideration... I think only veterans (Bro PuTongRen and other fellow "Chinese-fied" Singaproeans) have the ability to identify and control their women and their lives in China. Not to put down other Samsters who visit China "frequently".. you may think that you have control, but note that China is a place where they place Wei-Qi.. unless you have a full grasp of what's going to come, it is impossible to predict and the results can be shocking and sometimes painful. What you may think is "Control" becomes a mere illusion. Anyway, I love this forum and all the Samsters who contributes so unselfishly to provide would-be Cheongsters and seasoned ones alike with valuable information and the much needed avenues for "release"... Couldn't agree more with you. Just to share what I have experienced and encountered here. Well, I did not have the opp to know about this when I was here in late 97. Things were very tough in the beginning, extremely. Also, I did not go KTV except pub. The one that was most well-known during that time was the pub&ktv at the Galaxy hotel. Hundreds of gals, asking for tips immediately saying price is RMB150.... for one hour. @#x$*@! Of course, I asked her to FO. Some other pub, gals practise hit & run tatics, chat with you for a while asking for a drink at RMB50, keep the ￥, a little while they left. I see these still happened at pub in HengShan Road. Tips of KTV has since gone up from RMB200 to RMB300, thanks to many "generous" new bros from overseas, especially those from TW & HK. As I do not see, their service standard has increased, rather in the opposite direction. One story to share, when my SGP friend was here alone about 3 years back. Like many other bros he got plenty of opportunities to be-friend with those KTV gals. He ended up going out with a 'mami', staying at his place. Always fun in the beginning, later, she will ask for branded stuff. Lucky for him was that, he returned to SGP few months later and ended up changing his SHA mobile and apt tel. I saw the gal before and 3 of us have meals together before. What surrprised me was that, more than a year later, she can still remember my daughter birth date. May be she is good at her job. Sometime asking me where my friend was. One incident I saw few years back at a property agency, a young gal with her mum and a jap man, older than the mother; wanted to buy an apt. What shocked me was, they have problem to communicate with each other. Most of the time, the salesperson has to help through broken english. Well, I am not so old and experience enough to give advice like many other bros here.  just sharing some story.Cheers!

No matter how inexperienced one is, brothers here will appreciate every single bit of good advice and information. You have correctly described the scene in Shanghai now and three years back. What you said still happened in pub like Hen Sang lu, Mao Ming Nan lu, Fu Xing Garden etc. The same old tactics of buying a drink for RMB 55, asks for RMB 100, and the girl keeps the change and disappears. I still see it happen when I am in a Pub. I just ignore them and have a laugh to myself. Bro SGPShanghai69 is stationed in Shanghai, and ask him for good advice on where to go and the "House Rules". He is busy and he might not go with you, but I am sure he will give you good pointers. Do it before I drag him to join me in Tea tasting that I am currently in. I will stop drinking, and in fact, partially stop already. Try to live longer, as the maximum length of time that I can still make love to a girl might well be 4 to 5 years. Then I will retire, say, Suzhou. My 2 cent worth. Need to go for meeting now.

I could not find any Suzhou Girls in KTV in Suzhou, maybe I was not lucky enough. Nevertheless, my regular companion is a Suzhou lady, which is good enough for me. I begin to spend more and more time in Sichuan area and Xiamen, after I have learnt enough, I shall try to contribute to this forum. Dong Guan is really another enjoyable place, and is a heaven for men. I spent more time there about three years ago, the scene should be the same, if not better. Yet another meeting to go, and this one is about projects in China, which is more interesting than the one I had this morning. The word "China" wakes me up. Ha hahaha..... after reading the recent posts by you guys, especially the wise words from bro PTR, I would like to share my views with bros here. I am in PRC for not very long but I think my 2 cents is worth some reading. "Cheong" a word that we used so often, what does it really means ?? "swift attack" ? maybe, "conquer" ? maybe. But we never, in our mind, have the sense to retreat or handle the situation after we "cheong". That is why, i think, some bros ended in certain mess. Therefore, i suggest, whenever before we "cheong", let's not forget to plan the "retreat" after "swift attack". We should all take it as "feng chang zuo xi" like the KTV gals. Yes, many bros posted ONS and freebies, but how many actually tell you that after the ONS, they pamper the gals with gifts, mobile phones etc ... this not money meh ? Or after how many visits to the KTV, then they got the freebie. all that also money mah ... so, yes, there are some success stories, but they are factually, far and in between. if cheong, KTV or bars, leave your feelings behind, the gals will say danny devito is a handsome man, don't fall for it. have your fun, pay up and go. this is the safest thing to do in PRC. I had my fun, enjoyed my cheonging in PRC and have a loving galfren. for now, i must say, i am happy, except for work. bloody boss owe me 2 months salary liao !!! idiot !!! ok, won't loh so liao ... ciao ...

You have touched on a very important word, Retreat. We should thank you for it. It is the retreat plan that we always omit, or choose to omit until we are in deep trouble. We charge forward without thinking about retreat is not a wise thing to do. Even a simple re-org plan for ourselves will help to cool ourselves down and think wisely. Yes, dear Brothers, whenever you charge, please have a retreat plan in place as well. I have not though of this, I supposed I did not go into deep problem because of my age. There are many brothers in and out of this forum who talk about ONS, FOC, etc. I would like to believe that, except that the Brothers should also mention the expenses in other form. Just like what Bro Ultraman88 pointed out, mobile phones, dresses, cosmetics, etc,. all would cost money. I know also some Brothers who do this in Singapore. A make-love session with a girl in KTV may cost S$200 a shot. If the lady does not want you to pay and tells you that she wants to have a friend, the subsequent maintenance of friendship will cost you few times more than the price of one session. In my early days when I was always hot, I believe in BPB, Bed her, Pay her and Bye Bye. Friendship does not come cheap with them. To be fair to the ladies, they are some of them who are really good and not out to con money from you. From all these years in this scene, I have so far met only ONE girl, strangely from Shanghai, who does not want money from me. She said she had a steady job in a Trading Company. I did not believe this kind of dealing, and bought her presents which amounts or slightly more than the market rate as she was really good to me. Well, have to go, thank you for reading my post. Still writing a lot. Heard from Bro Looksee you leaving for PRC next week. Will be back in PRC on 2nd week of Dec. Anyway, Hangzhou is having more Singaporean these days. I might not be the only one around. Unlike 8 years ago, heads turn wherever I go. Everyone knows I am a 'Lao Wai' therefore everyone wants to cut my throat. Very good training during those early days. Come to think about it, I was so Naive then. I also went thru the "She's Different" period. Fortunately for me, I woke up in time to give myself a hit on the head and ask"WTF". Now I pay for what is worth or gifts to compensate. When FOC, give presents. Don't owe them anything or give them the excuse. My 1/2 cent worth!
