Hi Bros, I have been reading thru the many postings on Shanghai and quite honestly, I have been there on a few occassions and yet I have yet to get laid in Shanghai!!! Yes, believe it or not, Ihave not found anything in a city everyone is having a good time!
I guess I am blur like sotong!
So can some kind bro please help give me some recommendations?
I will be staying at Jin Chen Hotel on Huai Hai Zhong Rd.
Any fun nearby?

Hi Brother,
I believe Mao Ming Lu is near your hotel.. walk to the end where the pubs are.. but the quality/standard of the WL there are not too good if you're going for the Streetwalkers.

Conversely, you can take a cab to Heng Shan Lu where there are a few discos and pubs. Just read through the thread for the DOs and DON'Ts just so that you'll not be taken advantage of.

If you have friends with you, then you might consider going to a KTV and get the mummy to arrange "take-outs" for you. Again, the price you can find in this thread. It should be around Rmb1,200 - Rmb1,500 for ST. Unless you are feeling very loaded, try not to go to the KTV in Parkson (Huai Hai Lu)...

As for HCs, you'll have to get the info from other brothers as I am not too sure where they are located and what kind of services are on offer. Heard New Huai Hai (on Fuxing Lu, Near Shunchang Lu as brother SGP69 just told me) is good but personally have not been able to locate it's exact position.

Hi guys,
I'm in Shanghai now (2 week trip), but am currently staying in a company apartment (which means having other ppl in the apmt). However, I have been blessed with one and only one night where I'm going to have the place to myself. I had initially abandoned all hope of bringing anyone back for overnight, but now.. heh heh

So I would appreciate it very very much if anyone could give me pointers as to where would be the best place to go to hunting alone (without being too obviously newbie-ish and getting chopped). Alternatively, if anyone wants to go out for a drink tomorrow (thursday night, i know, short notice), then I'd be glad to meet up, and then we can go hunting together. The apartment's in Puxi, near the JW Marriott / People's Park area.

Try visiting ZAPATAS next to Shasha's Restaurant on Heng Shan Road....
Been there 2 times, lots of pretty gals there...only thigy is that the gals appeared to be quite aloof....but wat the hell la...try your luck, u never know wat u can get eventually right???
Speak english to them...make known u r a foreigner Chinese, but ultimately dun b 'chopped' by them 2 buy expensive drinks......tats all!

In general, your comment about the Shanghaiese Gals are right. Most of these ladies are self-orientated. I think many times, this single child policy resulted in these problem. Also they like to be pampered and most Shanghaiese guys like to do that as well. Even my Shanghaiese friend has to pay his former Shanghaiese gf during the break off. I know both of them. Another time was Shanghaiese guy told me that whenever his gf looks at certain things for too long during shopping, he will have to work hard to pay for it.


There is nothing to apologise, as you probably have a lot of adventure and exposure much more than me. I am not very active, prob getting older and dislike the KTV environment.......you are not paying for their service but you pay to tell them to leave.

We are just exchanging info, no hard feeling against any individual.

May be you can show me some places to cheong.....hehe

Just wanna share with bros here on the following tactics which I personally think would work very well with getting 'rid' Shanghainese gals from our back should any bros couldn't do so.......

A client (Ang Moh) asked me this question: How do u get a local SHA gal off your back...willingly & swiftly???
I was lost at this question......being asked...
His answer: Can u borrow me some $$ dear? I'm broke...!!
Note: By doing so, u wil sure to get any typical materialistic SHA gals off your back for sure!!! hahahahahaaa....

Bros out there, try it! It might work indeed as SHA gals r really materialistic......so once reality like these kicks in that u r broke with no more $$$, y still stay on with u eh?? Look for 'greener' pastures they would go la....

Right! I am 50% local but 100% 'shuagu' about KTVs. Bro given74 PM me asking for KTV to go on this Sunday. Too bad, I cannot help. Probably you can make some recommendation.
Being too localize, even my Shanghaiese friend has to use my name, telling his wife he is with me while he is actually seeing his cow......even on weekends. I think you have practise this tatic long long ago...haha!

When bro Hayashi is around, I heard from him that are a busy man, day and night. So I tend not to disturb you, a 'Kopi' break may also taking too much of your time. Anyway, if I happened to drop by your place, I will give you a call.

Right now only left with my HS Index ( She's now being 'promoted' to Main Board listing la...hehehehe) & my ShaoXing GF (she's being demoted to 2nd Board listing now....sigh...), so no more herd of cows as wat used 2 be la bro.....time consuming 2 u know keep a herd of cows....
