What I have suggested is merely an open suggestion. We can always bring or don't bring a "partner" as we deem fit. No pressure! (Bro WhamBamTYM, don't go about thinking that we're targeting you again ok? :P)

Tea appreciation is a wonderful idea and would be an invaluable experience for all! Looking forward to having it with you and the gang in Shanghai (probably next year according to your schedule... and hopefully it is during the weekends... )

to bro, putongren, shanghaitan, sgp69 n all other bro that can help:

just been to shanghai. very boring becos stuck in pudong area.

1. been informed all the action in old shanghai in puxi, which is too far from my hotel. is that true?

2. walked past a few bars n one ktv called "aegean sea" in pudong. tempted to go in but was already 1 am n they close at 2. also alone n dont want to get chopped a few k rmb when i have a few hundred sing. dont want to go home with a souvenir of a detachable leg. are such places worth trying or not?

3. if u guys r alone, u go to the more popular places to pick up the chicks or go to the hair salons? for some reason, many places open late into the nite in sh r the hair-salons, n these r the legit kinds. i see many people cutting hair late into the nite n was told that these people dont need to work the next day!

any helpful pointers much appreciated so i would know what to do next time i come. but hotel n airticket super expensive though!

Bro, wif some knowledge of SH, let me try to provide some infor:

1. its true tat most action are in puxi, but there are some in pudong as well. if u need any, let me know (my suggestion is tat: u shd be specific abt what u want to do. e.g. ktv, bbbj, or whatsoever). puxi and pudong, without the traffic jam, aint really tat far. during the peak period, e.g. 4-7p.m., to avoid the jammed tunnel, u can take the train aka MRT. if u r able to converse in mandarin, shd not have too much prob., who knows, u can even get to know some nice ladies by asking for direction

2. in SH or anywhere, u have to be on your toe when u want to have fun. some gut feel n common sense should be of great help. remember the golden rule ' anything that sounds too good, may not be true'

3. if u r only going to be in SH for just a few days n your intention is to pick up gers in hairsalon, i will advise against it, there is a possiblity u might end up going back to ur hotel/apt emptyhanded. rather, u might want to try the more established HC (such infor can be found in this thread)

I can see the aminalistic nature of yours oozing out from all your pores! But I would like to add... "Anything that sounds too good to be true, IT IS DEFINITELY NOT TRUE!" Not in China or anywhere else in the world for that matter!

I'm afraid I won't be able to join you guys for dinner tonight as I have a guest in town. Heard that it's going to be Japanese.. do go easy on the oysters lest the need to release multiple times tonight... spare a gentle thought for your companion.. heehee...

Anyway, HAVE FUN!! And don't do anything that I wouldn't do.. hahahaha.. which is not much.. :P

Japanese food should come with oysters...those fried ones... and oysters go very well with albalone

Since there isn't much that I won't do, if you guys do find any, please make it a double serving and remember to dedicate the deed to me by calling out my name after you guys are done! Hahahaha.... after that, there won't be anything that I wouldn't do left in this world! YEAH!!

Wished I could join you guys but as I'm uncertain of the schedule, I feel that it is not right to keep brothers hungry and waiting..

was there alone n for a very short time, so thought of checking out the pubs. 1 person go ktv without a di tou ser, sure kenna chop. like i said, was there at 1 am n close at 2 am, so too late liao.

I was in Hangzhou on Tuesday morning, Nanjing in the evening; Wednesday afternoon in Changzhou and back home to Shanghai last night. By the way, any bro station in Nanjing, any nice pub there to recommend?

Dear Bro Sadfa,
It would be great that you can identify your exact location in Pudong. I remembered some bros ever mentioned about some cheong places in Pudong.

Since you are alone, I would suggest that you go to HC mentioned here, all of them are at Puxi. If you are looking at picking up gal for overnight, you need some skill, luck and $; afterall you may ended up wasting too much time. These gals are not the first day in these business, lot of time you may ended up paying much more than you expected.

Have a nice stay in Shanghai.

I feel so sad that I was not able to join you guys for the outing last night... I left the office close to 9pm....

I heard that no oysters are on offer in the restaurant... well... Bro Junior Cannibal, too bad.. hahahha.. but I guess you don't really need them in the first place... right?

As for whether I will be able to join any other Shanghai gatherings prior to Christmas remains to be seen as year-end madness has now embraced our business...

Bro Shanghaitan, its a pity u didnt able to make it last nite. There were five of us and I was the only one without a female companion. To add to my 'sorrow', one of the bros told me that the room was brightly lit (as I was like a fxxxing lamp). Anyway, I did enjoy myself last nite, as I am not a great fan of oyster, its quite alright without it. The nite ended fairly early as the two couples were eager to go home, to do what? Probably u know best. LOL. Hope to have a boys' session soon

Dear Shanghai brothers,

It seems like all of you having a good time in Shanghai.

I am stuck in Xiamen now after arriving from Chengdu yesterday. This is because in Xiamen, I have so many aunties, uncles, etc. Very difficult to move. They will accopmany me or to take case of me till very late, like yesterday night, they were with me until midnight. They are very warm people, but they do not know, and I cannot tell them that I need another kind of warm. sigh..... Shanghai is still a better place for me.

I did not have much adventure in Chengdu as my regular was with me for the three nights. She would not let loose of me. Anyway, we satisfied each other during two of the three nights. Hence, my urge is quenched. I will try to sneak out tonight to have some fun.

Looking forward to meet all of you back home.

Oh yes, I need to go back to Chengdu on 26 Dec and back on 30 Dec 2004. Can we meet during the week onf 20 Dec 2004 before I fly to Chengdu again?
