just went to 海浪 at 中山西路1277号, thx to other bros for recommending earlier. For bros going there the first time, it is near 吴中路. Just tell the driver to exit at the 吴中路 highway exit. then, you will do a u-turn. after the u-turn, 1277 is near the entrance back onto the highway. As another bro already mentioned, sauna entrance is behind the row of shops facing the mainroad.

Have been going here a few rounds because 999 is 'under renovation'. not sure if they are really renovating, cause couldn't be arsed to go down to see for real. 999 is suppose to resume business end of the month according to one of the sauna gals. Some of the 999 gals have migrated to this sauna temporarily.

Anyway, just a quick update on this sauna.

Room is so-so only. I find 999 rooms are better due to more mirrors being available. Guys urgent, sorry if its not relevant to the thread but this is my situation:

i came into china via HK-Shenzhen border, and i've always come in and out for a few days and I understand we dun need visa.

Now im in Shanghai and i've been here since 2nd of June and now its the 19th June and I read online that we can only stay here for 15 days MAX!

My passport has no chop of the exit date limit etc so I assumed we have no limit to stay in China but now on other forums they mentioned for above 15 days, we have to apply for Visa. Is this true? Anyone overstay here without applying for visa before and what happened?

Is this true? What do i do now since im a overstayer!?

Hey brasscork, it's best that you head to the PSB as soon as you can as we are only allowed 15 days without visa.

From what I know in Beijing - and each city is different - each day you overstay is a 500RMB fine, with a cap of 5,000RMB. But it's really up to the cops that you report this to. Some friends of mine got away with it by being really apologetic while I have heard stories of those that got jailed 15 days - the latter is probably an extreme case so don't be alarmed.

Why don't you set your mind at ease by calling up the Singapore consulate at +86 21 6278 5566. They're closed on weekends though.

Don't panic, you probably just have to pay a fine that's all.

I'd suggest going down to the main police station today to extend your visa. If you're in Pudong, its along Ming Shen Lu. I'm not sure where the one in Puxi is.

Its 160RMB to extend for 30 days and it saves you any trouble at the border. However, it takes 3 working days to process so it'll be a problem if you're leaving soon. If they ask, just say that you wanted to extend and forgot - I know someone that did that recently and got away with it. They close at 4 though so you got to be quick
