Come come and bring along some buddies too...... the situation here is many volunteers are needed for salvage and humanitarian work. The mood of the city is sombre as almost every local here has or knows someone dearest who is victim of the recent earthquake and super typhoon..... be prepared for requests for financial assistance and the number of donation points has increased significantly. Almost every street has someone manning or organizing a donation collection point. Essential supplies are low and sometimes difficult to buy as most are shipped out to the disaster areas..... and make sure you grab some bottled water upon arrival as these has been in shortage in some parts of the city.

Hi guys,

This is my Virgin trip to Cebu with friends. As kind had been to AC before.

Hope some brother here can suggest good hotel that is walking distance to mango avenue area or night life.

Budget will be around RM100 per night.

Moreover, whats the pricing there now for FL or getting from the bar?

Hi,

I will be heading over to Bohol via Cebu for a holiday in a few weeks time. Will only spend Sunday and Sunday night over in Cebu before heading over to Bohol.

From what I understand, Bohol is going to be a desert for any action, so Sunday in Cebu is my only option.

Any bros know how is the action on Sunday night in Cebu?

not sure abt how is the cheong scene there like ?

read that its a good place to chill , swim or to swim with whale shark

and then they say Juliana Avenue at Mango Sq got a couple of nice clubs to pick up gals.

any bro has any insight to cebu scene ?

gal quality in bar at mango avenue not really good.

suggest u go to j avenue, former juliana to pick up university gal.

Just as an update, I went there early Oct, before I had the chance to review all the posts here. Tried to ask the hotel concierge for suggestions, but they did not seem willing to share any lobang. They claimed it was not safe for tourists.

They are right...... many families are in desperate situation and tourists are seen as their ATMs.... even the police have to resort to crime themselves to survive so how safe do you think the place is?
