Here is my FR in Hanoi, I like to give a FR while its fresh in my mind.
I would like to apologise for the lenthy post in advance cause this is my first visit and its been a while anyone post something in detail about the current scenerio of Hanoi, so I decided to post in detail. I would only reveal the time I had and the places I went to, this is to protect Naemlo's information as he is stationed here, there might be people that might read the post who are very close to him. I do not wish to cause him inconveiences because of my post.

I would like to thank Naemlo for his time and effort to take time off his busy schedule and to bring me around.

I touched down the day before but I was busy with work and my colleague, therefore I did not manage to meet up with Naemlo. When I went back to the room, I made contact with Naemlo if he's able to meetup the following day to show me around.

I managed to get Naemlo's contact when I pm him few days before and seek for his precious time to show me around, therefore he gave me his number through pm and ask me to call him when I reached and to arrange for a meet up.

For those samsters who wants his assistance, please pm him and he'll reply you. IF YOU POST REPLY ON THE FORUM AND EXPECT HE RESPONSE TO YOU, I CAN TELL STRAGIHT THAT THIS WILL NOT HAPPENED. Please follow the seniors requirement and pm them and they are more than willing to help.

After calling him in the evening, we managed to meet up for dinner at a restaurant or shop for frog's leg. Naemlo is very helpful and detail about the information we need to get around. He have estimated I might spend about close to 1 million dong which is about 100 Sing or 60 USD.
He actually inform me to get a cab from my hotel and gave the address (43 Truc Bach) to me, at the same time, inform me of the time taken to reach there and roughly how much is the fare. Once reached the restaurant, I'm very impressed with his gauge as he was correct about the fare which is about 50K Dong and about 20 minutes from my hotel.

Naemlo is not street directory so there are always places and roads that he is not familiar, therefore, staying in a respectable hotel may also appear to be a good idea.

Once there, we had steamboat, the shop is well known for its frog's leg and the soup base. I appears that the restaurant lives up to the place. We had 4 bottles of Hanoi beer and the steamboat. The damage is around 200K, I did not know the price as Naemlo insist to pay for it. Thanks Naemlo for the dinner.

Before we left the restaurant, he gives a heads up on the places we are visiting and roughly the market value. We took a taxi to a bar which is about 60K.

The bar's name is called Relax 2. From the name, its understood its a place for people to chill out. There is a guy perform singing at times in the night. There are also girls there to keep people company for drinking. Most girls are fair, lookable and young, except a few who are more matured. Once step in, the people there immediately recognize Naemlo and we are well received and friendly towards us. It appears that having a regular around and can communicate in Vietnamese is really advantages. As today is a weekday, the place is abit quiet. We had a mug of tiger beer each, after finishing, we settle the bill and move on to the next bar. The damage for the beer is about 84K.

From there, we took a cab to 17 Salon which is about 15K to 20K. The front of the bar displayed as 17 Cowboy. So for newbies, you will be able to find a bar displaying 17 Salon. Once step in, I realize the bar is more happening, The bar is a long room. Once side is the stage and the bar is in the middle. The live band is actually very good in singing and the music is nice and up beat. There is some retro music as well.
At the bar, the center actually allows girls seeking extra income to enter and dance there, if you interested in any of the working girls, you can actually ask the waitress or staffs to assist to ask them come over for a drink.Directly opposite the stage are seats for patrons. It is a two storey bar. Other than the staffs, there are cigarette promoters, beer promoters and alcohol promoters. The girls there are mostly young and lookable, some actually dressed to kill. Its really ice-cream to my eyes.

Once we step out of the taxi, the staffs outside recognize Naemlo immediately. He seems to be a regular everywhere. hehe..

Once steo inside, we manage to get a seat, before we order our drinks, Naemlo happen to bump into his friends. Not asians, "Ang Mo" actually.After saying hi, he came back and join me for a drink. We ordered a glass of beer each, the damage is about 113K. As he is the regular there and he can communicate in Vietnamese, apparently, the girls are friendly towards us. Although I cannot communicate in Vietnamese, they are friendly to me as well. Thanks to Naemlo presence. hehe..

After the beer, Naemlo suggested we should go upstairs to continue the drinks, once upstairs, we sat down with his two "Ang Mo" friends. One of them happens used to be a samster but long time never go online. In order to protect their identity from complications, I'll not mention their names or nick. They happen to be one of the few that is out stationed in Hanoi as well and due to the long stay, they can actually communicate in Vietnamese. Pretty impressive leh.. Well at least that how I feel.

With three regulars and who can communicate in the native language, the girls, staffs and promoters are friendly towards and we had quite some fun. Although I cannot understand a single thing they say but with abit of teasing and some body language, I managed to enjoy myself pretty well also. The girls that hanged around with us are pretty friendly, active and "mischievous", most importantly most of them are SYT.

One of Naemlo's friend actually found out this is my first trip here. Insisted I should try the special drink in Hanoi called the "Famine Lamborghini" The drink is really impressive and very heaty. After the drink, you actually feel a strong warm feeling from the chest to stomach. The drink comprises of four drinks. I did ask the details so I'll just inform the drink in color. The red drink is in natini glass, then they place 2 metal rods on the martini glass and put a very long slim glass bottle on top. They light up the while color drink in the wine glass and pour the drink onto the top of the bottle down to the martini glass, creating a flame on the bottle and inside the martini glass. Finally they pour two shot glass of drinks into the martini glass before the flame burns out. One is yellow color while the other I cannot remember the color drink. After done, we are given straws to drink up the mixture in the martini glass before the flame goes off, really impressive. I feel the burning sensation within my body after the drink.

The time spend upstairs was fun and interesting, the girls are lookable, some are pretty and they are fun people to be with. We had a couple of beers, I lost count of the beer drinks after the famine Lamborghini, hehe.. But the overall bill came up to about 800K, Naemlo insisted to give us a treat but we managed to convince him to keep the money and split the bills four ways.

After 17 Cowboy, we took a cab to Solace which is about 20K.

Solace is a very interesting bar as it is located on a boat, therefore it able to operate till 3 or 4 in the morning where the other bars will close around midnight. Again, once step in, the regular Naemlo was quickly recognize, as I came with Naemlo, I get to enjoy the benefits with him around. The staffs is friendly towards us, including me although I could not even communicate in Vietnamese.

We had 2 beers each, the first round was done by me and is about 100K while the second round was done by Naemlo, I did not know if its free or the price of the drink. I assume its another 100K. Solace is a bar operated on a boat, it has only a DJ operating the up beat music which are quite new and there's no live band. There isn't air-con in the bar as well, the environment was cooled by fans. The weather is bit warm and very humid, so I perspire quite badly as I'm pretty fat. hehe
During the November to March will be cooler, about 20 to 25 degrees or maybe even lower, at the period, I believe it will be a more cooler place.

I manage to get to know one of the staff there and we'll had some sparks going, we are holding hands and hugging her when suddenly a Vietnamese guy came up to me and say "You are very happy ar! Congratulation!" I thought I got into some trouble but in turns out that the guy is drunk. heng ar, if not, we might need to go into a brawl with the locals.

The staff not pretty but I find her very nice. Somehow just attracted to her but did not know what her X factor is. Maybe I'm bit drunk after much drinking so anyone also nice.. haha, I dun know la..

Me and her is really like chicken and duck, I dun really understand what she telling me and she really dun have a clue as what I'm saying as well.. but somehow we jus click.. haha.. Somewhat interesting..

Both of us were bit tired and my hotel is not really girl friendly, after the drinks we call it a night. I took a cab back to hotel which is about 20K.

After a nice hot bath and a dip in the bathtub, I become more refresh and try to complete this FR..

Here are some of the opinions and things I may left out. Not all girls are zero in English, some can understand and communicate simple English. But they are more comfortable in Vietnamese.

I had may a changed for about 1.1 million dong which is about 60 USD. After all the expenditure, I had a balance of about 450K left. IMHO, its really good to have a senior to bring you around to have fun, its much cheaper and you have less language barrier.

At the same time, you can also go to Fortuna or Hanoi KTV to have fun, the girls there may be more pretty and well-dressed. But the price will be tourist price and the girls are really going for the money only.

As for today, I had alot of fun all thanks to Bro Naemlo and the girls that hanged out with us does not make me feel they are soooo... money minded although their ultimate motive is to earn more.

I would express again my thanks to Bro Naemlo for the time and like to apologize again for the lengthy post. I hope this is helpful for those newbies who are coming to Hanoi and can compare and decide what is more suitable to their needs.

The frog legs cost us 370k.

I was sick, down with food poisoning when u reached Hanoi. Seen the doctor the next morning but instead of curing me, it was a waste of money. Last night, I was a bit tired due to dehydration and we went off early. Now waiting for someone to bring me see doctor again.

Po Chai yun, I taken 2 bottles on the first day of endless shitting. This morning suppose to see doctor, but was told to make appointment in the afternoon. Dun want to wait, my nurse friend went to get some medicines from the pharmacy.

You back in Hanoi??? Last night ang mo kena dragged to KTV with a group of gers...

Yes you need alot of fluids to replenish water loss... keep drinking soup, beer...dun boom boom too much or leg weak...

Hi every one,

Here is a review of VIP massage place very close to Fortuna Hotel. I only have some dim sum at Fortuna Hotel and go with clients to the club but never massage there because it is too too too expensive.

A few weeks ago I need to bring some clients out in the afternoon so we go to the VIP massage for 1.5 hours. I have been there before but not in a long time because of bad service. This time it is much better again. Clients staying at Fortuna so it is a very easy place to get from there.

Place is nice. you go downstairs in to private room and they have sauna then bath you. After that you have the massage. I lucked out with a nice girl so it was a good experience. More money than other places but worth it for me and for impressing some people. They want bigger tips also so beware!

I try 15 she was quiet st first but after some talking in Vietnamese became nicer to me.

hi bros, jus my 2 cents contribution on Hanoi.
For bros who is not too adventurous and dun mind paying above market value, if you are staying in Sofitel Plaza, you may try their in room massage (920K) exclude others. Please note that the tip they are asking for is crazy, but all can speak english, actually catered to ang moh thats y the price is high.

Opp Sofitel, Essien Massage 3. more for local as all the girls speak limited english and not much action. (180K for entrance exclude tips).

Sheraton, outside sheraton there are some fuck shop which condor had mentioned, and there is a massage place which charge 380K for entrance, but quality not bad and more happening.

Inside Sheraton there is a bar which also catered to ang moh, crazy price an if u dun mind paying, pretty easy to find girls inside. (They will come to u) quality.... 5/10.

Just some of my encounter as recommending a place which is more happening which requires bro to speak local is a bit tough.

Yupz... Nutz... and we must be nutz to spend $$ there...
WL charge like US$100 for a pop. Drinks wise... quite standard... cannot remember how much.. went there 2 times... as i am SPG member sheraton is my first choice... i will stay there for 10 times and threst of the year i will stay at Sofitel Plaza unless there is a convention i will stay at Melia.

Always too busy to chio senior when i am here and i target to achieve at least 01 drinking session by June... hahaha
