Hi bro,

1st of all, I had been to Hanoi since 2006. I used to stay at Fortuna hotel but now I moved to Hanoi Horizon Hotel which is also quite nearby Fortuna.

In Fortuna hotel, there is a Boss KTV. My advice is the girl charge is quite expensive. Before you called the girl, you have to have a drink there. then if you want the girl (after introduce by the mama-san), you need to pay a small sum of money and your drink. (I remembered I paid about USD70).
At 2006, for short time is about USD40 and long time is USD80 (I think now the price is higher as I long time never been there). The good thing is the girl u book can come up to your room. But if you stay in Fortuna hotel, you are not allow to bring outside girl to this hotel. Unless you want to pay for another room for the girl. They will tell you is the government rule as unmarried couple cannot stay together.

In Hanoi Horizon hotel, it used to be the same but as recently it is took over by ACCOR hotel group. They dont care about this policy anymore.

Cheonging KTV in Hanoi is a challenge... unless you know some local to bring u around. Otherwise, it is different for you to know the "local ktv".

My business partner used to bring me to all the nice "local ktv".

If you want to pick up some girl, you can go to a pub at Sheraton hotel. Over there, there are some girl doing FL. You will know cause usually they are alone sitting in the bar. If you interested in them, just keep looking at them. till you establish the eye contact. they will come to you and you can negotiate the price with them. normally is about USD80-USD100.

As far as I know, I felt that the girl here in Hanoi is more expensive than HCMC. But I think Hanoi girl is more pretty than HCMC...

I always go Boss KTV and Hanoi Hotel KTV alone. Just sit in the hall. No problem here unless you want to sit in the KTV room which will cost you extra. Ask mummy to bring you girls that speak English. Most girls can speak English.
