Re: Hanoi
bad times, super cock up times...
my first trip to hanoi. major disappointment. do little reading in this forum. kinda too many pages to go through. my bad... thinking that i cheong bangkok and manila before, thought it'll be ok in hanoi. i was dead wrong! language is super duper jia lat!!! anyway, i was putting up at melia hotel. read here that this hotel has zero hanky panky. so, ventured out. hanoi is rather run down if i could say. but not really that bad lar, manila and bangkok also not that super. well, went around looking for this so call karaoke joints for action. i had one friend with me. both also first timer to hanoi. ended up at this place with 3 shops of karaoke together. time was 8.30pm but we have nothing to do. so, approached the ppl sitting outside chit chatting. after some sign language, he showed us upstair. turned on tv and blast karaoke. brought us beer and water. titbits on table. one big room only 2 idiots sitting there. after some minutes, girls came. happy liau. i picked one. my friend said all bo ngam, signalled to see others. so, i asked the girl i chose to sing song, while i eat her tofu. again, sign language again. after a while, we think the guy not bringing anymore girls. my friend like dungu only. again, we signalled for girls. while the guy went off again, a group of about 10 ppl came crushing in and filled the room. started to talk loud and sing song. super sien man...!!! end up, my friend super TL and wanted to get out liau. paid up for whatever shit that we 'didn't do'! end up go back hotel PCC in room. nabei! sadly, trip was too busy with work and only one night to cheong. crappy! need to get some advice before next trip in future, or better learn viet language! just curious, with such bad english in hanoi ppl, can vietnam emerge as the next big economy country? |

Yes, Fortuna has in-room internet service. This is of course extra charge. I used their in-room internet 1.5 year ago. |

Anyway, u keep forgetting the most important part which I repeated to u so many times... the room got INTERNET in room!!! At no additional cost and connection speed very fast too nei! My dearest Bro Mild7 & Bro Deptrai Thank you for your kind comments, I am your humble friend always. 1) Bro Deptrai, sorry about that; I did a lot of intercourse but no internet, so it did not make an impression on me. Next time, for longer hotel stays, the internet would be used for sure. 2) Bro Mild7, on writing of novels, maybe we all can join forces to write "The Sex Adventures of Samsters in Vietnam"; I am sure the combined experiences will fill the entire book with interesting escapades. Hope to see you again soon. Kind regards from hot & rainy Singapore. |

Re: Hanoi
Dear Brothers
My brief FR on Fortuna Hotel. 1) The room I stayed in was a spacious room and it even had a bathtub cum jacuzzi. This is the Superior Room and it cost US$110 per night including breakfast. 2) There is a casino on the ground floor, next to the hotel cafe. It has a few (lousy) jackpot machines and the electronic roulette. No much fun. 3) Boss Karaoke: sorry, I did not visit this place as it is too upmarket for me; moreover, I have Bro Mild7 & Bro Deptrai arranging the (fantastic) partner for me. 4) For outside breakfast, there is a lovely place to eat beef noodles next to the hotel. Walk out of the hotel, turn left and it is about 4 shops down. You can see the lady boss cooking the noodles at the shop entrance. As I do not consume beef, I used sign language and said noodles but no beef; she came up with some ajinomoto soup with vegetables and the vietnamese soft noodles. Wonderful taste! This also included the baby 'yu-tiao' that is very crispy. All this for dong 10,000 (S$1.00) only. 5) For lunch, walk out of hotel and turn right; The 1st shop is called 'Al-Fresco'; they serve mainly pasta and western dishes and some Vietnamese food. This is very crowded during lunch-time; I tried the noodles (i love vietnam noodles now, and vietnam girls too) and they were very good too. The staff speaks english and gave me good service. 6) The hotel cafe serves noodles soup, Chinese fried rice, laksa; I tried the first two dishes, no standard at all, better dont eat. However, they have carrot cake 'chai tow kway' for US$2.00 per plate, enough for one person to eat, and you can choose the white or dark version. This dish was quite good and I recommend it for a small snack/meal. My humble contribution for all brothers going to Fortuna Hotel. |

U know, Jimmy is about the ONLY person whom I have met in Hanoi that stays in Fortuna Hotel (and could easily afford that) but did not go to the Basement KTV, Boss KTV. Any yet he says Boss KTV is upclass and says he cannot afford. Pls dun believe him that he cannot afford, he just trying to be humble. I think the real reason is that he found something else that is just as good but served to him in a different way. And hopes that will keep him coming back for more ;-) I am writing this as an example for people who goes to Hanoi with main intention to Cheong and have a good time... the message is this... Please dun spend ur hard-earned money at the wrong thing and then say Hanoi is a disappointment! Even the Massage in that hotel.. sets u back by US$25 and HJ another US$20 if not the girl will pester till u give. For US$45, what u get is a lousy HJ.. the girl whacking ur dick so hard like ur dick owe her money.. and the other hand of hers could be sending SMS to her bf. I could show u where to get 3 good fun sessions with that kind of money that even allows auto-roaming (hands roaming). The key to a fun and good time with the best Bang-for-the-bucks ratio in Hanoi is this: 1. Read this thread.. skim thru quickly if u want, take notes as u go along, just cut-and-paste relevant info into notepad. 2. PM some of the contributor in this tread..most are usually more than happy to meet up and show u around. 3. If u need specific help, such as even hotel booking.. by humble and ask for help. Those contributing samsters will usually help. Do not try to cheong Hanoi on ur own if this is ur first time in Veitnam..the learning curve is simply too steep.. u may be a lau chiao in other parts of the world but when it comes to Vietnam.. 2 major barriers.. Language and Culture. Do u know that even in Hanoi, it is culturally unacceptable to tell the girl "Just tell me how much it cost for me to fuck you for 1 night!!" The girl may just tell u to keep ur money and PCC urself! The right way to do is to tell her all the beautiful things about ur country or origin and invite her to see some nice photos in ur room. So those cheongsters with a Rapist mentality, very hard to have fun.. what works is usually those with a Romeo mentality... both starts with "R", both deeds are the same.. but it leaves the girl feeling totally different about u... think about that! just my VND200 worth of comments ;-) |

Like what i did to the Saigon Beer Promoter. (no money talk, like GF feeling) Cheers |
