just back from hanoi/bkk last night ...

surprise to meet peter at the apartment cafe having breakfast ... he did not sleep well cos his gal was having a bad cough and he was afraid of getting infected by her virus but he was a nice man .. he did asked the gal to go home if she want to but she choose to stay .. we went to old quarter for some shopping ... later end up having lunch at the same building yesterday but on the 3rd floor this time .. "Legend Beer" highly recommended by bro carrot007 .. we ordered a com rang thap and com chien cua ... man, the serving is so big for each dish .. enough for 2 person ... we then proceed to Hanoi Hotel for foot massage and sauna ... the foot massage skill in Hanoi cannot compare with BKK ... we burn 3 hours of our time there and meet up with bro carrot007 and his gf for dinner at a japanese teppanyaki style restaurant but not serving japanese food ... nice experience .. food was heavy .. me and peter then proceed to Boss KTV ... bro carrot007 cannot join us .. his gf is sticking to him like super glue .. moment we step into Boss KTV .. all the gals are like bees flying to honey ... all start coming forward and grab u by ur hands and arms .. than gal #179, LAN grab me by my arms and lead me to the hall and sat me down .. Nice FR bro adidas, glad to have u guys there too. If u guys had not came, I will be quite bored in Hanoi too.
To scored in the local scene, u need time and patience. So for those bro who came for just 2-3 days and wanna have fun, I'll still recommend the international KTVs, just "hit-and-run"  Though u pay more, but at least u have more selection and communication is easier. The girls at the local scene speaks very limited english or chinese and selection is limited to about 15-20 girls max. Anyway, I will be in Hanoi on 24-27th Jan, then to HCMC till 30th Jan. I went to HCMC hair salon and have massage too, but i guess the standard may not be as good as the one u went to at hanoi.... I also gave 200k dong to the gal that shampoo my hair and massage me. She thanks me alot and ask me to go again tomor...
