I donch think DrDroom is criticizing you. Please read the excerpts and go into the links I provided. You can see that for men, its not just throat cancer they may contract and its not just cunnilingus that exposes men to HPV.

I hope people realize this danger before its too late and they contract this horrible cancer many years down the road.

HPV is not just about licking the ass, albeit this action is most likely to be 'unprotected' and be the conduit for transfer of the virus.

Even regular oral sex is likely to transfer the virus.

Yes, even the mere grinding of her vagina against yours is good enough for infection. No need for penetration. This virus is spread from skin to skin. Thats why I always advocate wearing full gear - meaning condom + latex shorts (those with a hole to put yr penis thru)

The only recommended screening for women is the pap smear test, which does not detect the virus itself, rather the abnormalities developing in the cervix: http://www.cdc.gov/hpv/screening.html

Even then, there are many strains of hpv out there.

Bottom line is we might all be carriers of HPV and we don't know it because the virus usually doesn't produce symptoms, until our immune system weakens and the cancer or wort starts to appear in our penis, arse, throat etc.

u can wear 10 layers but it wont make a difference. Like I said, HPV is spread via skin contact. Yr condom only protects yr shaft. what abt the area ard yr shaft, yr balls, anus , etc

HPV cannot be screened - no such test. Can only be detected after it manifested itself as genital warts. Thats why it's the silent killer of sorts
