You must have booked the Suzuki Beach hotel....... I was in Subic last Monday because a friend was there for some diving....... the Japanese owner was his relative so he arranged a room there for me.

They gave me a deluxe room which was 2500p but was discounted to 1650p for me...... I thought I had a good deal until I went walking outside and saw banners everywhere offering discounts and cheap rates...... even the brand new Subic Pearl was offering its room for only 890p...... but I lan lan kept quiet so as not to hurt my friend.

I think the reason the Suzuki Beach is full is their guests are all Japanese (maybe all the Japanese coming to Subic stay here)..... I hardly saw any other nationality when I stayed there and these Japanese come across as belonging to the well heeled business community and most of them are there for the golf. But the food in the restaurant is excellent......authentic Japanese cuisine...... but damn expensive!
A simple sushi dinner for 2 of us cost us about 4500p...... and my stupid friend can even comment its cheap.

That's bad timing bro....... 5pm is peak hour traffic jam coming out from Manila (on a friday somemore) so I would say the fastest you can get to AC is about 3 hours...... be prepared for up to 4hrs if it is very bad jam.

Re: Philippines, Olongapo City

No actually it was the Subic Grand Seas Resort. I booked via Agoda.. so managed to cancel the reservation. Now I am hotel-less!! Hopefully I won't have to sleep on the streets! Thanks Milk man and Comjuka. I paid PHP2500 per night originally.. so If I can get a room below PHP1000, I will get a free bf every night! hope to buy you a drink for the great advice.

Good luck on your barhopping....... the only bar which was happening was the Lips bar...... Hot Zone had some decent dancers but mostly filipino customers when I was there...... the waitress told me they were friends of the owner who called them in to fill the place so it dun look empty.

In many of the other bars that I went to the only customer inside was me! Finally went back to Lips and took a 22 yr old single mum with big boobs from Davao..... she only gave birth 3 months ago and still has milk in her breast.

Hi Bro Comjuka,

So if I like a girl & she agrees to go with me, what's the approx. barfine ?
If the mamasan are not pushy for barfines, is it because all the barfine goes to the girl ? Then how do the bars earn ? Please explain more.

I recall barfine in AC is typically P1600 and it includes 1 shot. No need to give the girl extra except some tips.

So what's the deal in Subic like ?

This I kena in China leh.

So now I take hotel car sure safe and sure can reach.

Thank you brudder.
If you are taking the ABC transport why dun you top up a little bit more and take their helicopter...... only 15 mins ride instead of putting up with 3 hour road trip.

Last week when I was in AC the barfine in Fields has gone up to 1800p and above....... very difficult to find barfine for 1600p now unless you go to the Perimeter bars....... barfines of 1200p / 1300p are still available there.

On my last night I was in Golden Nile and clicked with a Daddy's Girl...... I wanted to take her but she declined saying her barfine of 4000p is too much for me....... instead she asked me for my hotel & room number saying she will come after work...... I just need to pay the trike and "up to you" amount of tips...... true to her word she turned up at 3.10am and stayed till morning when I had to leave for the airport..... gave her 1000p tips and she was happy with it.

Well, trust me .. I feel safe in the taxi than in the fxxked up contraption they call helicopter ..

Robinsons are Piston engine choppers, with high velocity/low intertia blades - in case of problem, they can't even auto down on their own .. that's the technical part ..

And .. well, in Philippines, Robinsons are hot stuff, simply because they are the cheapest .. in most other countries, they are not allowed to carry commercial for such distances.

though that should not distract you from the 'hot chopper' .. if you believe the bikini clad pilots .. LOL

Well, I see they miss their air bags and float kit .. and flat chested too I did blow up the picture to see it up-close

(Don't ask me how to fire the gun when the blades are turning .. or maybe once the thing has landed, the girls will get on top and fire away ?? )

Still, thanks but no thanks .. I would rather fly a girl in the bed than in a R44

And some more 'enticement' in case you decide to ignore my 2 cents shitty advice ..

http://www.philippine-adventure-tour...-abc-hotel.php

ps: seriously, Robinsons have one of the worst safety records. If you are going on a R44 trip, ensure your insurance is proper.
