Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Where young 'exceptional talent' is concerned, Man Utd has not has a lack of them, academy or bought.
Remember what was said about Martial ? Antony ? the other defender wingback that is sold this season ? And also Sancho. Then, there is also Mainoo, Garnacho who shone when given the chance, of course, there is Rashford..... ETH does not seem the nurturing type, just in case I forget, fuck you ETH I still feel Man Utd lack an on field general to motivate and push, maybe Rabiot incoming, but I have no idea of how he is at all, besides him being a midfielder, but does seem quite mercenary. I wonder if Man Utd still have any cash left over for transfers after Yoro and Zirkee. It is quite amusing to see almost all big clubs constrained by budget due to the financial rules thing. But it does make it that developing take a higher priority. Wonder if Man Utd will get the Arsenal academy striker who is 16 yrs old, could be someone to look out for. Just hope that in the coming season, players will be better taken care of and not be injured as much. And fuck you, ETH

It actually made me feel good swearing at him He just comes across as so arrogant and critical, esp when it comes to the players. I still can't forget the mauling we got at selhurst, Crystal Palace 4 - Man Utd 0. That was after 7-9 days of rest and we just collapsed. And of course it was the players' fault, where ETH is concerned. If he continues in the trend of openly criticising his players, does not bode well down the road. In other news, for a few hours it was hotly reported that PSG was aiming for Bruno, and then news just died with probably too expensive. Can honestly consider a swap for Ugarte AND Xavi Simons for Bruno. Feels like it will be a fantastic deal. One can dream. And also, fuck you ETH

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
I don't understand the rationale around McTominay.
He is a player coming into his prime, a hard running midfielder who scored 10 goals last season, with less playing playing time than most other regulars. But Man Utd is willing to sell him for £30m. Is there something I am missing here ?

McTom was one of the early birds to report back to Carrington even though he was on Euro international duty. Hard nut baldy is still not convinced he can fit into his plan. Nonetheless, it had been decided to sell off rather than retain. In line with INEOS direction and FFP policies, need to sell so can buy.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
On another note, I woke up early this morning to catch the Liverpool v Man U friendly match in Columbia, US. Williams–Brice Stadium.
Liverpool put 3 pass Onana easily. Although looks like on 2nd gear, they still beat a lack lustre Man U side with the likes of Sancho, Mount, Casemiro, Rashford. Man U lack of communication upfront is something that ten Hag should be alarmed. Against Arsenal also same issues. Worrying signs even though is just friendlies.

Now look at today's friendly against arch rival pool...Arne slot who is just a new manager of Pool could defeat baldy's (a Dutchman also) team so resoundingly 3-0...I feel so malu for him even though it is just a friendly....pool players were energetic n accurate in their passing to each other while baldy's team were just running around the pitch like headless chickens ...again no tactic, no plan, nothing ..always kena rob of possession by pool players...if it's going to be like that in the new season then baldy ought to be given his marching orders...wat other excuses is he going to find to lose the match so badly 3-0...don't blame on injuries again

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Summary of preseason
the injury curse continues with hojlund and yoro out for extended periods, and others with niggles and knocks. ETH might need to pray more to Hua Tuo with shaw gaining fitness and malacia still out, got to see amass played decently in DL position. ETH may pick him for the Com Shield but think will revert to dalot when the season starts. other players like amad, collyer, wheatley, hugill also played well, the youngsters can continue their development with loan moves. amad is definitely pushing for a regular spot as AMR Season 24/25 expectations defensively, cut out mistakes and concede less. offensively, score more goals. overall must improve consistency and mentality if there are less injuries this season, aim for a top 4 finish in BPL. if the curse continues, happy to qualify for EU. runs in domestic and EU cups as deep as possible vs city in the Com Shield, first XI: onana, AWB, amass, lindelof, martinez, casemiro, mctom, amad, mount, rashford, sancho. tactics will be similar as the FA cup final, soak pressure and counter with pace

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Looks like the baldy is at it again...never learn his lesson from last season regarding his selection of players who plays well if deployed in their favourite positions i.e his favouritism towards certain players like Rustford...e.g. playing pellistri, a winger as a right side defender when he could hv brought Amass in who played well in pre season... substituting Amad their best attacker instead of the missford who missed 2 chances to score...
it was a game n trophy they shd hv won within 90 mins like many of the games last season instead of having to go to penalties n lose 7-6 in the end due to their great Sancho n oldie Evans who thought he was playing baseball sending the ball high over the bar...Sancho Missford n mctom shd leave the club in that order for causing the team to lose in last night community shield opener...again like many games last season they lost games in the end when they were actually leading earlier n never able to protect their lead

Utd should have nicked it. Both misses by Trashford was atrocious. McTom should have tap in, but not sure why he can't. Troubled by transfer rumors?? Good to see baldy starts w Amad and he was a threat. But agree he surprised everyone taking off Amad. A case of taking the lead but squander it. Onana gives Utd fans hope after saving from Silva in the PS, but then Sancho spoil the fun. A bad start. P.S. Zirkzee was on the sub bench, why wasn't he deployed???

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
man u created several good chances but there was no SC to put them away. man u attack was weakened by hojlund's absence and i think results won't come until he returns from injury. rashford missed two great chances *facepalm* hope things go his way when he gets a goal
defence was makeshift with ETH decided to go with martinez at DL instead of amass, and then pellistri as DR. the DL position will be a weak point until shaw returns. there are reports that man u gonna sign de ligt and mazraoui, but they gonna take time to adapt to the english style, we won't see clean sheets for quite some time ETH used up all the 5 subs, he could have brought on zirkzee for maguire while mctom drop into the DC position. looks like we gotta wait till next wkend to see zirkzee in action
