Going Jakarta during CNY. Staying Mangga Dua area. Haven't been to Jakarta in ages. Heard the malls there close early, b4 diner time even. Jakarta so no life one meh?

Anyway, any recommendations for happening in the area? Hopefully there are still girls during CNY lor.

Read back a few pages and saw mention of Sense Spa in Mangga Dua Square, Fashion Spa in Fashion Hotel, M Star Hotel & Spa , Orchardz. Not exactly walking distance but guess can try ba. Am staying Le Grandeur. Not my choice of place cos going with parents who wanna siam CNY.

I don't mind walking. But question would be more of whether it is safe to walk. Not really sure about the safety in Jakarta currently.

Read some mixed reviews about these places in other sites so not too sure where to go. And Alexis is a more atas place?

And also, seems most people recommend to go for locals rather than China or Viet in Jakarta?
