During my Dumai trips years ago.. I took the Dumai Express that routed towards Tp.
By the time it reach SKP was already late afternoon.
As I said SKP is facing West whereas tp is at the east.
The travelling time (on the ferry)would be another few hours.


Think its faster by land to punggur then
Take ferry to tp.

Dont think is a good option fr SKP ferry to tp, As it hv only one trip/day.
(The batam jet that goes up to Dumai do not serve tp)

In punggur there're more frequent.

I think the SKP-Tp leg was just good for ppl who travel on the same ferry from ports further away on the west.

Thanks for the info bro! What abt the Jodoh Square area, to the west of the BCA Bank Jodoh branch, is it also the same type of ST joints catering to the locals? We were supposed to go there to look see but got sidetracked to the Kampung Bule bar area.

This has been always a mythologic place to me, since my first visits 10 years ago. I love underground, semi-illegal places. In Geylang, I was used to play with girls on streets, never in legal houses. More adventure, more fun.

I have always heard about Tg. Uncang, but I have never dared to go, mainly because I thought it was not worth to spend 1 hour by taxi to go and 1 hour to come back (half day tour by taxi is 400k?).
In addition, I have never understood if that is a daytime or nighttime place.
Last but not least, my impression was that the quality of girls was very low tier. Therefore, in conclusion, I thought "why should I go??" and indeed I never went, as Nagoya had more girls than I could physically afford over my typical 1-week stay.

The cover image is probably click bait. The "bars" in the vid look similar to the ones behind Taman Anggerek Mall in Jakarta.
