My small contribution from my experiences to bros out there.

1. Age gap- The age gap between both husband n wife nust not very far apart.
2. Earning power- Husband salary must at least 2.5k n above.
3. Employment- Husband must at least with the company for 3 years.
4. Income Tax_ Husband must pay taxes for the past 3 years.
5. CPF Contribution- Husband must contribute to CPF.
6. Home- Both couple must have their own love hut.

Above are the consider factor ICA do. Hope this help.

If u are talking about citizenship, then I don't know about it...but for PR i dont think point 6 is that important... 1stly if age gape not big, it would mean that the guy is young...since he is young then he wont be afford to buy "love hut", not to mention that he must be of age 35 yrs and above.

ICA has just granted my wife SG citizenship. Now, she has to renounce her Chinese citizenship before Feb.

Just imagine she was having problem even to get a short term visa to SG few yrs ago, due to her bad record (imprisoned for 3 months due to overstaying).

I am here to say a big thank to Bro Rof|maoxz for advice, if he is still active in this forum (I seldom come in here now)

I just married my viet wife recently...around 2 months... now i plan to apply LTVP for her...

i working in my current company for 3yrs already...pay 2.5K...no CPF...i never pay tax b4 too...

am i still able to apply LTVP for her successfully?

Do not pay tax or CPF? Personally I feel you may have some problems when you apply for LTVP.

One word: difficult! No CPF u can even say u earn 20k but as long the IRAS never have a chance to use your money(tax), you can keep dreaming. PM me if you wan to noe more, I help ppl apply LTVP and PR alot.

What if we are already married overseas? The marriage cert isn't in English. Do we get it translated and then pass it to ROM for ratification?

Is the process easier if she's here on social visit pass?
