This test is not available yet in Singapore. Noones know the accuracy until more clinical trials have been established in Singapore.

Hi...juz wondering if all tests conducted in Singapore are accurate. This is because i took a test last week...but the test result came out the next day...-ve..wondering if it is accurate and i should go for another one.

what makes you think testing HIV needs more than a day?
Did you took your samples for HIV screening only? or include other STD??

If u have registered your particulars at the day clinic at DSC for the HIV/syphillis test which I presume is what u have been tested for, the results will be out in 1 week.

Anonymous testing can be done in a day and get results after 15 - 30 minutes.

The result most accurate is the one taken 6 mths later from your last contact.

Hi all, have been reading the postings for a while, but this is the first time that I am posting. I have not gone for HIV testing..(soon I plan to do that).. but I just want to remind the brothers here....that if you want to steer clear of all this STD/HIV shit....only safe sex will do. I kena gonorrhea before... horrible feeling...very traumatic....that was after I was given raw BJ

....exactly one week later...I got discharge from me dick....burning sensation was horrible

...luckily..had the sense of mind to go see GP.. who referred me to DSC...went for the test....they poke a needle like object into your dick to take the discharge...that was really, really painful man. I was curing myself for getting into this...tested and they confirmed it was gonorrhea... gave me a jab and medication..also some counselling... overall experiece...horrible. At that point..I vowed never to go raw again... be it just a BJ...

Anyway...the effects of the episode on my work, family was very traumatic... at the end of it...I heaved a sigh of relief......but it could all have turned out to be different.

So brothers..please practise safe sex....

bro yes. Safe sex is important. Try to avoid BBJ if possible as well.

Been there, done that!! Result: Clear as a clear blue sky, best answer of the year.
Finally, a good closure from constant worries abt HIV, even if it is a tentative one.
Strange to see a room full of ppl and yet so quiet and depressive, guess everyone heart is in their mouth, worry of a +ve result, which as good as death sentence.

Here is my SR ( screening report ) on the AfA Annoymous HIV Screening:
Reception Service: 9/10
( professionally done, no detail questions, simple and direct answer )
Waiting time: 7/10
( Got to wait 3 times, 1 for 'interview', 1 for getting prick and 1 more for result announcement, scarriest moment )
Service: 7/10
(no long, 3 generation history kind of requirement, straight to the point and ask key questions only, still always consider the legal implication of non-disclosure)
Pain factor: 1/10
(is only a tiny prick on a figure tip, not that the needle is doing sex on us, 'in and out and in and out' if that happens, everyone fainted liao)
Fear Factor: 10/10
(all your bonking life flash before you just before they call you in to tell you the result, doesn't help when the volunteers holding your file and start whispering to each other with a serious face, feel like shit hit the fans man!)
RTF: better be if still wanna cheong, unless close shop, cease operation, cut dick off, then can consider no need to RTF)

Well, I did it and it feels good now, but seriously it takes huge guts just to walk through that glass door. But when in there, no worries, everyone is as shity as you, you are not alone

I got a HIV negative antibody test at the end of 4 mths and a negative PCR at the end of 3 mths....but i have a persistent mild sore throat and lack of appetite....the specialist says i am alright.....and thinks my lack of appetite is due to anxiety, but it's not....what should i do, i am really lost

But mine is indeed genuine......meaning to say, i may have gotten some other viruses.....are there drugs which help with viruses? Will anyone intro me a reliable doc?
