hi all, just to update abit on my application for LTSVP...i recieved a reply from ICA for 1 YEAR LTSVP ...will be collecting these few days together with her medical report.one thing i like to highlight is i didn't submit her education n bert cert! all they ask from me is my Income tax n payslip. i think maybe i was lucky to get the approval.now i can start looking for HDB flats n after settling down i'll try to apply PR for her..i knw chances are very slim for Bankrupts like me but i'll keep trying..a big THANK YOU for all who adviced me..bros here who did not succeed should keep trying..wish all GOOD LUCK n Happy Chinese New Year.

LTSVP, need not require edcuation, birth cert or (Hu Lou Ben) from your spouse. Main reason is because you are the one sponsoring her. So most documents come from you. But the mentioned documents are definitely required for PR application. Go, try applying PR for her, regardless of how slim the chance is!

As for flat application, you need at least a 6 month LTSVP for your spouse in order to purchase a resale flat from the open market. As long you meet the 20% downpayment for your flat, HDB should grant you the concessionary loan rate to you. My advise is to pay a flat within your CPF budget. Do PM me as regards to flat procedue. Bro naemlo is experienced himself. Base on your short Q, I presume that your foreign gerfrd is at her country right now. If she is currently pregnant, you may sponsor her under Social Visitor Seeking Permission To Deliver A Child In Singapore. You need to place a refundable security deposit of $1K to $3K with the ICA controller. Afterwhich, The security deposit will be refunded after it has been confirmed that both the mother and child have left Singapore and there is no breach of any of the conditions stated in the security bond.

As for ROM, you are not allowed to do so in singapore. ICA won't even grant you a STSVP to her when she's pregnant because there's a clause in Form 14 which she is required to declare that she's not pregnant at that time.

There's another unfind clause in ICA.

Women who are 6 (six) or more months pregnant and intend to enter Singapore for social visit should make prior application through the nearest Singapore overseas missions.

Hi all, I've successfully ROM with my wife happily and I'm applying LTSVP for her at the moment.

I've gone through the application for PR and found her Birth cert and household censor is needed. She dun have BC as she's born in village. Any bro here has similar case? As i'm afraid application would not be accepted if We can't produce the cert as they're quite strict.

Household booklet is as good as her IC. Take good care, and have them translated.

LAst time I oni produced the translated household censor and her passport of cse...I go thru every stage smooth sailing...n she got her PR within 4 mths.

She is now a S'pore Citizen liao...

Maybe you can further elaborate on the procedure of getting the PR smoothly, like your employment status, tax eligibility and other factors. I'm sure bros here are interested.

Hi all, planning to marry my PRC girlfriend of 18 mths. will it be better to register in China or ROM in Singapore especially for PR application? she was caught by police once during KTV raid and had to report to police station and ICA for special permit every 2-4 weeks, in the end she was allowed to go home after 3 months, i am worried that this will affect her apllication for a visa to come over and visit me, any advice brothers?:

I have to be frank with you, knowing about your gerfrd's history with ICA. Getting married in china won't get you a sure-enter social pass into Singapore. You may not even have a chance to get married in here. Advise you to keep trying to submit her application for the next review.

You just confirmed my worst fears, guess i will have to try ROM here. Do ICA accept a deposit or is there any procedure to follow for genuine cases(but with history) like mine ? know it's going to be tough just have to pray very very hard. thanks bro.
