Actually it's true, kl and bkk is more safe and fun than in sg as sg guys really really really like to act in front of girls...but once we are overseas we are like mouse

Says who?
In Thailand besides the Army, Police and Politicians.
The elite families, mafia and hardcore criminals carry guns as well.

Also you might be "attacked" by ladyboys along Sukhumvit Road!

Less fights as the Thai guys don't need to use fists.
For serious cases they just gun down their enemies inside/outside the clubs depending how influential and lansi (yaya) they are.
There's a reason why those metal detectors outside club entrances are for.

Re: Happening Discos/Clubs in BKK

I didn't experience any fight happens in Bangkok during my resident there, but in CNX once. At Warm Up. Those who got involve the bouncers didn't spare a chance, whack and pull them out. Generally Thais more to party type, they drink, and got drunk and yet didn't create any trouble, compare to Singaporeans. That's why the bouncers didn't bother to stand inside the club, unlike Singapore clubs, even though world disco like zouk also need bouncer to stand at the pillar watching people dancing.

Read one article, and a big hoo haa about last three years ago, a guy suddenly went berserk at Karafun shooting his gun up in the air.

Some of my Thai friends asked me how is zouk alike, I told them, inside the club it's a sausage fest on certain days. Unlike discos in Thailand, women partying seems more than the guys. And I told them there's cover charge for entry they like

Last five years ago during serving NS, every Wed seems to be good at phuture, with Andrew Chow spinning, but my Thai friends told me, nowadays Andrew more and more frequent spinning at Slim.

Haha this kind of gun toting incidents always happen to Caribbean managed clubs.
There's one very big case in 2001 involving the son of the current Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung.

Now this cop killer (although not convicted) is becoming a cop now!

Cash is King in Thailand but if you're not from influential elite families also no use.

Yes if you've the right connections you can apply for a fire arms license.
It's completely legal!
If not wrong only Thais are eligible.
Foreigners not applicable.
But since this is Amazing Thailand.
Anything is possible.

You can impress your girl's father by stripping the M16 apart and put it back in one piece from the skills you learn in SAF. 5555.

Tim = thaihoteldiscounts (resident advertiser here).

Yes, hit straight to lifts and your room. With a good class hotel (like Aetas), it's usually no problems. Most is some eagle eyed fellow asking to login gal's ID. Just 1/2 minutes delay to your fun

Re: Happening Discos/Clubs in BKK

555+ KL safer than Sillypore? Isn't this the country where druggies will rob you for pennies and sexually deprived kampong bumpkins raping women in shopping center carparks? Sorry my Msian bros but if a city streets have signs that ask people to be careful of motorcycle snatch thieves I think says a lot about the "safety" of the country.

In Thailand members of the armed forces, police and MP can purchase, own and keep a gun at home. Costs like Bht60,000 to Bht100,000 for a semi-auto pistol. Lots of gun shops at Yaowarat along the road near the Old Siam shopping center. Foreigners not allowed to own a gun unless with special permission. The last Democratic Party government even gave subsidies to MPs to buy guns. Recently big provincial official accidentally shot his secretary during dinner.

Metal detectors are installed at all bigger clubs to prevent firearms from being smuggled. The wealthy & connected can literally get away with murder as case of rich spoil brat killing cop. So the reason u don't see many fights in clubs or why Thais drivers seem more tolerant is maybe u dunno if that bugger has a gun with him. Last 2 years had this airline pilot on the way to work was shot by someone who felt he was road hogging.

Many people bribe their way to get into the police academy because once in its a start of a rather lucrative career. The pay is peanuts but thats not they are after. Thaksin started out as a junior office too
