Re: swollen lymph node
Hi,
Swollen lymph node might just be a case of infection. If there is persistent pain in other parts of your body for a long long time, then I suggest seeing a doctor.
Anyway I give an account of what happen to my friend a few months ago who is still in his mid-20yrs and he was diagnosed with lymphomia 4th stage, very sad but true.
He used to have a certain pain in the body, around the waist area and the pain would not go away. This persists for like 1 year even though he went for blood tests and the docs just prescribe medication like strong doses of pain killers. Nothing can be found from the blood test.
So what happen is that the pain in his waist began to intensify till he was literally limping when he went to work, and then he went to see a doc to get an MC for IPPT excuse. The doc found a swollen lymph node behind his neck (which we could see it when we went to hospital to visit him) and ask him to stay back for further checks, they ran all kinds of scans CT,MRI..etc on him and the report is bad, stating he got 4th stage cancer which is the final stage.
(The stage just means how far the cancer has spread out to other parts of the body.)
I not sure of my friend's cause, could be due to stress or the genetic factor as his mum got this immune system disorder called the 红斑郎仓症.
Anyway just dun scare yourself,it might be a minor case of infection...
