U know the streets are damn busy on V Day... practically anybody who is anybody will be hitting the streets. I see so many flowers and big soft toys that my head was spinning.... Lucky I managed to get my hands on a...er... flower of some sorts.... well it's not a rose as far as I can tell... and it cost me a bomb.....my pocket was getting lighter... maybe a blind date on V Day was not such a good idea... Hmmm... looking for shirley is really starting to look like a good idea finanically... My friend smsed me to say she's late... well... not exactly a blind date more like a double date... she and her hubby and me and this Alexis aka Ye Ting... How long has it been since I blind-dated or double-dated ?? Very very long... my palms are sweaty... but I think rubbing them on the table cloth would be not be considered good table manners ba... maybe next time should get them to my fav roti prata joint in JC instead  after an agonishing 15 mins... they arrived... I saw my friend's hubby but could not see her... only after a while I realised she was buried behind a huge bounquet of roses and baby breathes.... Looking at her flowers.. I looked at mine... I looked at her flowers again and I looked down at mine.... Shit !! I threw the flowers to the next table... better not to present any than to be embrassed  when I present my beanstalk of a flower next to that oak of a flower bouquet !! Special Note to All Samsters: For those camping and waiting for a steamy FR.. well how many blind dates do u know end up with the couple rolling around in the hay... besides my title should say it all...heheh... All this time I was so engrossed by that large bouquet of roses that my friend's hubby bought.. I totally missed this sweet-looking gal in a pink spagetti and jean skirt... Nice and casual... I like... I was not dressed to the nineties myself as I came from work.... Her looks ? Not sure how to describe.. she's above average looking... certaintly someone you will see a 2nd time on Orchard Road but not someone you will pruposely turn your head to follow... Has this whole gal-nex-door looks about her.... really my type of gal... Maybe my V Day curse is going to be broken ?? Well she sitted opposite me while my friend shot me that.. "I'm so happy to have my hubby who loves me" looks as she place her flowers down. Sheesh... can she stop already.. "This is OP (ok not using my real name here la) and this is Alexis" my friend made the intros... "Hi, heard a bit about you." as Alexis took my hand. Imagine angels singing... thats how sweet her voice is.... nearly make me die of a sugar-rush...and her hands were quite soft as well... *Evil OP* - wonder if the rest of her body is soft as well *Angel OP* - Oei !! this is not a WL !!(whacks Evil OP on the head) Quickly I got back to reality and I smiled... on hindsight.. Hey !! thanx for abandoning me hor... isn't the meaning of a double date suppose to be 4 persons... but no let me count... Alexis.. Me... Alexis .. ME... Two lei !! No more blind dates for me !! "Hi..." I managed in an awarkard voice... Not knowing what to say next.. I just blurted out wat came to my mind first.. "Did not know u could buy movie tickets online ??" Well the ground did not open up.. maybe I did not pray hard enough... At least it would have spare me the agony later...In a fairy tale... the story will now continue like this... we had dinner and had the most delightful conversation and found we had so many things in common... In a porno tape... it will be we had dinner... went back to her place and we went at each other like long lost lovers... and later her younger sister joined in for a three-some... In REALITY !!
