how cheap do you want it to be? i know some schools... say learn english one month only less than 300?

Of course British Council is good place to learn english. But the fees is not that cheap. I think let your ger learn the basic fundamental first before gg on to learn the english from the BC.

There is no way for a foreigner to get a student pass if she is not enrolled in an approved school.

No. Only for S'pore Citizen, PR, Work Pass or Dependant Pass holder.

Erm... interesting.... I doubt ITE help applying student passes for foreign students. They do offer courses to foreigners at a slightly higher fees.

They can come on regular visit pass to attend the wedding. Social visit pass should be for a 14 day period. Should be enough for pre-wedding, dinner and some follow up.

i need to know too.
besides that i have another question: is it really necessary to submit the household booklet when applying social visit visa for my PRC girlfriend who is unemployed there as stated in "Document Checklist for Applicant(For Nationals of Assessment Level 1 Countries)?
I actually managed to apply one for her successfully in March this year without submitting photocopy of the household booklet. why is it necessary now? change of policy?
This time she is coming here to ROM with me.
Big brothers out there please advise.

Hello there, social visit visa can be applied without her household booklet. Just sent in her first 4 pages + last 2 pages of her travel doucment, 1 photograph, and her signature and do the submission.
