I just submitted one photo for my wife's "biao mei". Only the biodata pages of the travel document + $20 for the visa, plus filling up the form 14 and the LOI form. No additional things asked from me.

My wife just got her PR this month, confirm household booklet is only required when applying for PR.

Entry Visa/Extention/LTSVP no need Household Booklet. For LTSVP application, make sure u have min two previous year Tax Assessment ready, but if u have more, just submit it, regardless of whether u have to pay tax or not. It will help to prove u are an asset to Singapore and not a liability.

Since u will be ROM soon, just get ready your Household Booklet ready cos u confirm need it eventually.

They ask for Household booklet from u when u apply for Visa maybe becos u 'so lucky'

Pt (C)..it is a requirement for us to submit a photocopy of hse hold booklet, if she is unemployed back in china..

this is applicable for social visit and entry visa..

if applying for PRC spouse to singapore for the purpose of ROM..it falls under the category of entry visa...

B) Social Visit (visiting friends, relatives and for tourism)

Local contact's Singapore identity card (original & photocopy);
1 copy (original) of duly completed and signed Form V39A ;
A letter from the applicant’s employer granting leave of absence and stating how long the applicant has been employed, his/her designation and salary if he/she is employed; or
A copy of the household booklet if he/she is a PRC national and is unemployed.

that's exactly what i saw which caused me to worry. will follow bro 黎明's advice, anyway will still get my wife to be to send it over, a bit frustrated for me cos i just came back from china a few days ago and she wanted to pass me a copy but i told her that she should keep it for later. so stupid of me. kam sia for all the wonderful replies.

You can ask ur wife to go to 邮电局 to fax the docu over..
the part that show her parents' data/ bios and hers..

i always believe in playing safe..and fulfilled all the requirement stated by ICA..just in case they want to 'play punk'....

didn't know fax copy can. thanks for advice. guess someone up there is testing us, why is being together with the one you love so difficult? and this is only the beginning, there's the LTSVP and PR etc.

any question: does she need a return ticket when she comes in since she is coming for ROM and therefore staying for quite a while?
