Otherwise advise u to stick to the 'tourist' places. Scratchdog is ok but not guarantee you will pick up someone there. Go agogo bar for ST or LT, rates have been advised in this thread already...or other option for ST is Thermae.

Actually most thai in bangkok they can speak english but then you need to speak to them slowly.. it's just a broke english..
