country 2 country different mah because spore wants 2 b some kind of hub for people to come n invest, travel etc etc.

this is spore, not north korea. so if they reject u from entering, there usually is a reason n sometimes they will tell u unofficially. in spore, sometimes it could be the guy is connected with triads or political. i bet if falungong founder wants to come to spore, gavamen will be very careful to make sure he cannot spread his faith n find followers here.

actually, contrary to many suspicions, i think the singapore govt does not ban the falungong movement here or targets them unfairly (so long as they keep clear of the chinese embassy compound!) - the society act or dunno what applies to them just as to anyone else.

in fact, i think i passed by their newly set up office at the junction of geylang lorong 1 recently. so the movement is well and alive indeed.

anyway, personally, i hv no problems with them so long as they don't impose their beliefs on impressionable young minds or preach to anyone unwilling

i think last time they got to court, it was revealed isd was spying on 2 of the charbors at esplanade. if they r not dangerous, isd will also bo hue them.

Ya, I think their movement is not only well and alive but rather aggressive. Few days back, someone from Falungong knocked on my door but my wife did not open. They subseaquently left and leaving behind one A4-full-coloured brochure (2-side) explaining their activities as well as how their peers in China was being abused unjustly............Financially rich sia $$$

is PPC dead for good? went to buy 4D today, took a walk around all 3 levels. No surprises ... all TNs closed except for d usual few 'clean' ones. Lookin at some vacant shops with a 'For Rent' outside, it appears that they are gone for good.

well, i guess we wont see d shops opened anytime in d next few wks, mths ... til d God knows when elections are over!
... or MAYBE, if u r lucky u MAY juz catch 1 or 2 shops open for business ... afterall some of them may have already paid d full mth's rent, if dun use d shop abit sayang rite!

A check with the internet boss and was told that raid started around 11am yesterday morning. I believe she went in for milktea session with the MIB liao...! Had been busy d whole wk, not aware of any ongoing raids.

well, i wont be surprised if there r informers planted all ard our island, esp d 'hot spots'. whenever an informer sees 1 of those 'blackmarked' TN shops open, he will quickly inform d AVs, who will then chk out d shop rightaway. well, may not b true ... juz my guess.

d persistent, consistent n irritating raids aim to send a strong message to all d black shops to stop their acts or risk facing heavy penalties. this is likened to punishing a hard core criminal. if a criminal is caught once with minimum punishment, he'll not feel much pain. 2nd time he committed d offence, he's given double d jail term n rottan. he's starting to feel d pain but remains defiant. 3rd time he committed d offence, he's given triple d jail term n rottan. he'll likely think twice, thrice shd he want to embark on his 4th attempt. is it worth d risk for d minimal rewards??????

sad n scary as it sounds ... but i guess if d AVs do not do it this way, these shops will continue to creep back.

hope my poor england doesnt confuse bros ...
