Actually, in my entertainment sessions, I met 2 or 3 KTV mm that are so lonely in shanghai that they call me out just to hang out. Nothing sexual. They even pay for makan half the time. We eat very cheap anyway. Some of them are just so lonely and need someone to talk to. These type I also cannot bear to FOC them. They are human too and it is not an easy profession that they choose. Yes, there are a lot of bad apples out there but sometimes you have to understand, some of them are really at conflict with themselves. Just be a listening ear loh and at the same time becareful not to be a carrot head. If you do not give them the chance to rip you off, they can't. Honestly speaking, I have met some nice girls in bad situations. I will never date them and make them my gf, just because the premise of knowing them is already a problem. But killing sometime while having cheap food is not going to hurt. I do not have that much time to spare anyway.

No offence, just to clear my doubt.
It seems to me that price/cost is very sensitive to you, I have seen that you asked many times on the budget or expenses. My first question is,
1) How much you willing to pay for or what is your budget on going to Pub?

Secondly, ONS is the word that appeared very often in your posting. In my opinion, the HK gf thing you mentioned, I presumed that guy is you. It makes me ponder, and conclude that you must an expert in engaging ONS. My second question, or rather seeking advice from you is,
2) Please advice your tatics or rather approach to engage ONS.

As I have not been to Pub for long times, nothing to offer, but I guess it will be pretty much the sames as it was, depends on your purpose of visit.

I just wish to add on that please remember that in shanghai, guys are expected to pay for everything, even if you are hanging out with platonic friends. That is the unspoken rule. If your female friends have something close to a heart, they will offer to pay and even then, you still have to insist to pay. You will avoid paying only when the girls insist to pay and will not take no for an answer. Any action outside of this will leave your ass out cold in the summer heat in the days to come.

So, please please do not ask questions like "Do i have to buy them drinks?" or "do I have to treat them?". It is understood that YOU HAVE TO. So my next questions to you are: Is it worth it? What are you chances to score if you treat all these? When is your breakeven point, if ever? Will your ROI justify your investment? What is your internal rate of return? Will your investment be smarter if you have a fixed investment with a guaranteed return? damn... the financial side of me is coming up again.. down boy!!

And also, if you can ONS with minimal investment, please teach me. I want to be cool as a cucumber just like you. I (and shengge, if he is willing) will buy you BBQ with satay and all, a local china delicacy if you haven't tried it yet.
