Me and my 2 other good brothers are going to cheong Jakarta from 26/6 to 28/6 (after cheonging in macau 2 mths ago :-). This time, it s my turn to plan the itinerary.

We would appreciate if anyone can recommend us which hotel (girl friendly and not too expensive) to stay and which place (spa, ktv, and places to pick up fls) to cheong.

All hotels in Jakarta are girl friendly. I think the best location wise is to stay around Kota. At the 300K rupiah level I like Sparks Hotel on Mangga Besar. (buy the reservation voucher at the Kaha desk at CGK airport) The hotel is fairly new and the rooms are clean with a hip design. Also, the rooms have in room safes. The location is great to walk to brothel bars like Bintang Mawar, Siera, Madonna's, TC's, Rasa Sayang, Super etc etc. Spas within walking distance are Oasis, Lokasari, Travel Hotel, Kimochi, Atlantis, Olympic Hotel. I also walk to places like Stadium, Crown, Club 36 and other disco sex emporiums on Hayum Wuruk. A short cab ride away is Beverly Hills Spa, Comfort Spa, and Kota Indah - Sari Ayu, MTR, LA Bar, Royal and spas like Java, and Sands Disco, Spa, and KTV. The drawbacks to Sparks are the room is small and the have an empty disco that pumps noise pollution throughout the hotel until late. Also, it can be difficult at times to catch a Bluebird taxi here.

For 465K a night (purchase voucher at Goindotel reservation desk at airport) I like Novotel Mangga Dua at Mangga Dua Square. This is a very new 4* place, free wireless internet, in room safe and nice big rooms. They also have a gym and big pool. The only place you can walk to here is Sands -which is in the same complex. Carrefour is also in the same comples. However, all the other places I listed before are a short taxi ride away and there is a Bluebird stand outside the hotel.

Also, nice in this are but more dated are the Mecure Rekso at Hayum Wuruk and Mangga Besar and the Dusit on Mangga Dua.

If you want 220-250K per night, there are some less western style hotels like Astika on Mangga Besar or Arawana on the same street as Travel Hotel.

For freelancers, I think dark techno like discos in Kota are Crown, Millenium, Stadium, Sands and Mille's. Some people like 5* hotel bars like CJ's (Mulia), BATS (Shagri La), or Tiguh Puluh (Meridian), but I think these places are too expensive and the girls mutton dressed up like lambs. These girls seem to like prospecting bule customers more than Asians in these venues. I am a bule, and for freelancers I like cheaper free lancer filled bars on Jalan Paletahan in Blok M such as My Bar, Top Gun and D's Place. Drinks are cheaper, the ratio of girls to guys is better, and the looks standard is younger but not as well packaged as the 5* bars. However, Blok M and the 5* hotel bars are a long 40K taxi ride away from Kota. I only go to Blok M after 11PM.

I think that should be enough to get you started.

Check up Ah Guan or Qibye as he is the owner of Tropical and also Emporium... Many Chinese gal and they are open from noon till late.

As I mentioned before the best and cheap place to pick up FL is at Tropical SPA, because a lot of freelancer come to work in my place and they are free after 9 PM and I will let you bring the girls to have fun without charge. But you should tip the girls. And I would apreciate if you could give me some business by having a massage in my place for only Rp. 154.000,- (include facilities and 1.5 hours massage in VIP room).

You have now surpassed me in the Penjay area as I have not patronised these joints for a long time now. Been saving my bullets for Surabaya's Dolly (So much cheap and good melons that even at up to three a night, there ain't enough time to consume them.) Landed on Sat afternoon, my bloody bastard local buddies had kept me busy all nights until tonight.

Went to Sumo at Kelapa Gading on Saturday evening. This is the greatest. Their current stock of PRC's damn great. Many are even better than what I saw in GL. Damn. A good one that I tried was Li Li. Beware: it's more costly than GL! So Bro who are in Jakarta now, you can check this Sumo up as the stock is still great.

Then ransack Bunga Mawar on Sunday night, then Sari Ayu at night, Da Bao 1 cutie until this morning. Great gal at BM named Pudji (poo gee). Service oriented and patient! Beware of the gals at Sari Ayu as some got disease, never do RAW nor BBBJ nor kiss/lick them.

Tonight went to check Beverly Hills & Hotel Travel. BH's stock was "ma ma hu hu" but Hotel Travel (local stock) wasn't too bad. Swiss won liao!
