it depends on your circumstances. what are you entering vietnam for?
can you spare 1h queuing?
do you have an APAC business pass? if you have, there is priority counter there.
Do you have children, or handicap travel partners? There is priority counter too.
Are you rushing to board a non connecting flight or bus to another city? If its within 1h before flight, you may just politely ask the immigration officer to move you to priority counter (show proof to him).

I have never tried purchasing a special pass to skip queues and never intend to. It only promotes immigration to clear the queues slower so they can collect extra revenues. So i dont know how or if it works too. Usually its more worth it if you need a visa on arrival as well as you'll be paying the same price for priority visa on arrival + priority custom clearance.

I think the hooha comes from high quality girls, the average hookers in hcmc are above 6-7 , young silm fair and pretty, cheap too if you use gaito. Compare that to thailand whereby most hookers you see are ugly, old, fat and generally unattractive, not to mention its more expensive because thailand is more famous for mongering. Never understood the hype about nuru myself, it's just an oiled up body rubbing against yours, i don't feel any form of sexual pleasure from it.

Agreed on Gaito being a good rate but it does take some research because now those are littered with fake reviews. In the past, it's usually recommendation my small group of mongerer local friends in Saigon to verify girl good (look, service, etc).
