IMO, I don't think ydgduo is being disparaging with his comments. In fact, I think what he's trying to say is that the locals need to up their game if they want to stay competitive in the market today. For crying out loud, he even offers a suggestion for the locals to tag along with a paying customer and learn from the Japs. So, please tell me how is that being "mean and hush (harsh?)".
I fully agree with ydgduo that BDSM is multi faceted, and not just about punishment. As we are all unique individuals, we understandably enjoy different aspects of BDSM. When I first got to know Luna, I gathered that she did not enjoy BDSM at all; today, she's a Pro-Domme and seems to be rather popular. So, instead of shielding them, I think a little bit of constructive criticism can go a long way to doing them good.
Everyone's "brand" of BDSM differs. Instead of imposing your views and ideas on someone, I think the community (being small as it already is), should instead be accepting to these differences. Why play a game of slash and divide, when we are all under the same umbrella?

My personal view is they (i only tried two La Siora mistresses in Japan so far) are able to balance punishment, kink, mind control, seduction etc very well.

No worries. Yes, I try to eat, live and breathe BDSM with my partner all the time, but I can tell you it is not easy. Having been an active practitioner of BDSM for quite a while, I am still learning myself every day, be it new experiences, new people I meet, new things I discover and read about.
I think that we all have our own preferences and limits when it comes to BDSM. My opinion is that a good Dominant (lifestyle or professional alike) is one that will make it a point to understand their submissives' preferences/limits and work with them to heighten the whole experience. It is actually always about the submissive, even though on the surface we see BDSM as the subs serving the Doms.
Long story short - We are all not experts and there is no one size fits all in BDSM. Do what you like, look out for what you like, don't impose your views on others - there is no absolute right or wrong (so long as we're all safe, sane and consensual).

Is Mistress Akiho taking booking for session with non-members? The last time a La Siora dom visited Singapore, sessions were only for members of La Siora as I understand it.
It depends on how much time she wants to hold sessions. If demand is overwhelming, members should probably have priority.
I understood there was a queue of about 20 session requests for Mistress Murasaki's last visit, and she only had time for 3-4 only.

My post with regards to bro ydgduo "yelling out loud" to the local to find a male customer, a man to visit jap for lessons, and declared that he is not happy with the skill level of local service providers (imposing of views?). IMO, that's unnecessary. Punters know and will walked away if the service provider are not up to par. This alone would eventually pushed the service provider to up their ante if they want to stay in the trade.

Erm, I think you are confused as much as you have confused me with your reply. Let me try to understand what you are saying. And, please, stop asking us to "move on", as I think there is still much to be discussed.
Like you say, everything is subjective, especially on a forum like this. Everyone's FR or review on anything (a person, a service provided, etc) is placed out here as a free expression of their opinion, and so, is up to readers to interpret. That was exactly my point, but it seems like what you are saying is only positive views can exist here?
Just as you have openly voiced your support for L & S, ydgduo has voiced his opinion on them (or rather his views on the locals). I don't think it's fair to say that his opinion is unnecessary just because it sounds unpleasant. Also just to clarify, where was he yelling? I don't think he was yelling at all.
Usually bitter medicine is always hard to swallow, and as such I feel that you were a little too defensive! My first interpretation of ydgduo's comment was his aspiration for the locals to improve, rather than him criticizing them outright - Did you see it that way at all? Anyway, ydgduo had further supported my assumption in a later post by saying he sincerely has their interests at heart. I'm not about to ask you to immediately subscribe to my view, but at least know that there is a different views on this matter.
I'm not here to stir, dispute, criticize, or create a mess. I just hope that online discussion can be objective at all times - and as a result, increasing the quality of discussion; rather than just slinging mud at each other or silencing the unpopular view of another without discussion or contest.
