I'm going to shanghai early next month, looking at all the FR & direction here, I'm more confused than ever. I'm ready for some fun adventure in this city but it's my first time here, cannot speak or listen to the language, I'm afraid have to do all in english. I might be staying somewhere in Heng Feng road, any ideas on direction/good joints nearby? I'm pretty straight forward, no chit-chat, karaoke first and small talk, just want to come, pick girls and go on to business.

Any ideas on pretty decent and clean place for a foreigner might go?

Sad to say, that joint is now closed for renovation.

Hua Ting is located in Puxi.
Taxi fare I think less than RMB40. How far? depends on the traffic condition, I think within 30mins for good traffic.

At this early timing, only barber shop open to have a quick fix.. earliest i know opens at 9.30, latest 11pm. walk around and find those with translucent front doors, confirm have quickie.. hj 50 fj 150, rmb hor!

Dear fellow samsters ...

First trip to Shanghai and after doing my "research" decided to head for Fantasy HC for a little RnR. Informed the taxi driver to head down to the ZhenBei n MeiChuan intersection with no difficulties. The DIO Coffee Shop is VERY HARD to miss indeed.

Walking in past the security post, was surprised to find FG occupying the whole building. Along the way, felt like I was being transformed back to the 70s to 80s era, a scene from the many movies ...

Forgive this "Swa Gu" junior as it was his first visit to a HC. Certainly very impressed by the facilities within! The service by your locker room boys was good too. After my shower, had a towel dry on my back by one of the boys and proceeded to the 2nd floor to wait for Bing2.

It was slighty after 2pm on a sunday so I guess, it was indeed a little early. Waited like 30mins before she finally swung the door open. Very friendly and asked if I was from SG. She asked me if I wanted to choose from a line up or trust her to organise it. I told her I prefer a tall girl who's not so much of a "bah chaiz". Anyway, I will be in Beijing and was thinking of doing short 2 night trip to Shanghai. This thread is excellent but being my first trip to Shanghai, I don't even know where to stay yet. I'm using elong.com to book flight and hotel. Which hotel do you recommend? I guess I can always 打的 to cheong destination. Please advice on hotel first! Someone told me about Shanghai 新天地, at first I thought it is like Singapore 新天地。 哈哈。

Try Motel 168 near the Bund. Cheap and good. Comes with frosted glass panel in between bedroom and shower.
