Did it once for a PRC friend. With this you don't need to apply for a Malaysia Visa and run the hassle to travel to JB.

as long as you can show proof that you are taxed in Australia, its is ok. It doesn't mean you have no income.

i have my gf document now,like birth certificate,blue house book,education cert..if i bring to translate,and can i bring to thai embassy to endorse without my gf??
when apply Pr,i assume ICA will take the translated copy.lets say ICA not approve the PR,does it means i have to repeat the process of translate and endorse the document again to apply PR for second time?
any bro have done translation and endorse the document recently and care to recomend which one and roughly the fee?
because of my gf still working in bkk,to get day off is very diffuclt,at the most 5 day include flying time,so i dont know is it enough time for her to be here to ROM first and apply PR or LTSVP before she go back and come back again.care to advice?

anyway, saw many posts here, my gf is already left sg for past 3 yrs, never stepped in since. we're still trying to have her come over but still clueless cuz many grey spots around.

been told to declare truthfully, but my gf is from Kyaingtong and 3yrs back she was in SG with a thai pp (fake) though now she already has her legal myanmar pp.
what worries me is being truthful will mean she's guilty of illegal entry when she was brought over to work last time, faking it would be hionging which is still basically slapping ownself on the face when finally trying to ROM.

please advise?

Wow, finally finish the whole thread aft 2 dys of reading.
Surprised to hear tat so many pple with foreigner wife. However i got a few qns even aft reading the whole thread. My case:

I got a Harbin gf who i know her for a yr and she got 3 Social Visit to S'pore. Nw we planned to get married aft 2 yrs, but in the meantime she do not want to be alone in China as she know tat this is not healthy for the relationship and i also wanted her to come to S'pore to work while i start saving for our grand wedding . Other reasons for her to work here is for her to familiarize the culture, environment here and also i can tell my parents i know her while she is workin here. So i plan to let her work here for 2 yrs, send her back n apply for marriage.

Nw i got a job agent for get a job for her, and it cost 4K (norm is at least 7k - 12k) cos i am recommended by a towkay. But problem is the agent wanted a educational cert with at least JC level. Hint from the agent is to made FAKE one in PRC, which is very common cos most of the factory operator do not hav one as well. Agent told me that if no cert employer will not employ cos of higher levy. So my qns are:

1) Is PR application or marriage more difficult if she has a WP b4? (Assumming within the WP period she is kuai kuai)

2) What do i declare for her educational level when applying for PR? (Assumming that MOM approved her employment and aft 2 yrs she is married to me already. i know too early but need to plan cos one step wrong then later very difficult to get PR)

3) Must i send her back to PRC first b4 getting married? (Cos i know WP holder cannot be pregnant or getting married)

Out of curiousity:

2) Can i join ur foreigner wife group aft my gf reach S'pore to work?

try not to do any fake certificate or make any fake declaration..will regret at the end of the day...

i see some PRC without secondary education still obtain PR status...mayb due to the education background and salary cap of the husband....

work permit holder to married in SIN..guess u better check wif MOM 1st.....they may hv some regulations...

bro, i opt for a full time diploma instead. all the eng course offered by pte insituaton is very ex. up to a few k, found a cheap one but no gurantee of student pass for one yr period.
after surveying, what ppl normally do is to enrol for a pte dip. to get student pass, then go for cheap eng course at the same time. they can then learn eng & get a dip. educated in english. after looking through at the ridiculously high fee for pte dip. i decided it will be more cost efficient to go for ft poly dip.
there is a very affordable school located at bugis called Evander. spoke to the boss & find her very professional.

Your plan is not feasible, why dun go straight for ROM, instead of going thru' getting a WP, furthermore she's not equipped with the required cert? Think abt it.

Qn 1#: I do not even know whether she will be granted LTSVP, even after she cancelled her WP, and get married to you.

QN 2#: Check with her school, and produce the school certificate for her. Don't "over-produce", thinking this will increase her chances of getting it, in fact, such little mistake could cost her dearly.

Qn 3# You keep lumping WP, Marriage, and SPR together..... keep focused on what you actually want, and reconsider your plans again.

Thanks 4 ur advise. But i need her to work first b4 getting married, firstly i wanted a normal chinese wedding dinner as most of my friend hav, and tat need money so i need to save first. Me 27 in age. Secondly i need to ans to my parent. I dun wan my parent got doubts on her marrying to me.

Any advise if i need her to work first?

You might not be able to get approval for ROM in S'pore if your GF is a WP holder. My friend's wife can't get LTSVP to stay in s'pore after their marriage. His wife have to stay in JB and he got to travel daily to and fro from JB. Only manage to get his wife over after a few yrs. So you better think it carefully if you want her to work in S'pore.
