WP at least can guarantee her stay for amore longer period (2yrs) and also can get to enrol in some language sch at the same time... then at the same time..apply for her PR....

Don't worry too much, pal, don't further complicate her stay here, since she was granted LTSVP. Yes, the 6 mthly renewal is not necessarily approved upon extension. But unless your spouse is a highly educated individual, and can attain P1 or P2 passes base on her own merits, then I will say go for it.

Since you are already her local sponsor, I suggest juz opt for the normal SPR route.

Well I guess this is your personal problems which you have to sort it out before the next action plan. Getting her a WP just to stay with you during this period is not beneficial to both of you if wedding plan is on your cards right now.

LTR is not just a game, you ought to be working doubly hard to make this relationship work efficiently, and not just "I wanted you to be with me just because I miss you terribly" reason.

Thanks for ur advise, mayb need to check wis my agent cos she said i am not the only one who is using tis method. And i dun tink i am the only one who wanted to married wis a WP holder. And i also cannot let her stay in PRC for 2yrs alone jus waiting for me. She is not young, 29yrs

If i am not wrong, there is specific policy to prevent s'porean to marry a wp or ex-wp holder. i think it was also mentioned in this thread earlier.

I read on the MOM clause for the WP, whether the WP is expired or not, MOM hav to approve first b4 applying for marriage. And according to another clause it seem that WP still allow to married to S'pore as long as they r clear by MOM.

Any bro hav any experience of marrying a WP holder? Pls shared ur experience cos i really afraid tat it effect my future wedding, Thanks

The problem is, i dun think they clear it easily. instead, it is more prone to rejection. then we also lan lan.

my eldest brother's wife is a WP holder....when my brother want to marry her...I helped my brother to write to MOM to ask for permission to ROM....dont know write how many time until finally they give permission...only then can go ROM...

As for the letter...I forget what i wrote inside already...something like...really love each other...want to have commitment...raise a family...no problem about job etc etc...and i photo copy a few copy...1st letter rejected....straight away send the same exact letter again...till sucess

Yes she is a factory worker...nothing being rude...decent job.

hmm more than a year....think due to my brother lower education and pay...that why reject alot of time...but it is only the matter of time...if both girel and guy no record
