let say last year went for medical check up for LTSVP then this year now go apply PR. if PR approve, still need to go for medical up again?

i heard medical check up valid for 2 yrs so don't have to redo the check up?

is it true? anyone know? thank.

Within the 2 years period, she need not go for another medical check-up again, if her SPR application get approved in another 7 mths times.

But best she conduct her own medical check-up on her own loh.... nowadays very easily to get sick one.

in what kind of situation a person SPR will be cancel by authorities?

one of the well-know case is that Airlines pilot Ryan Goh Yew Hock during SIA saga. if i not wrong got Fulong Gong practitioner ask to go back china too.

any other examples if a SPR involve in anything that will cause his or her SPR be cancel?

SPR holders who committed a criminal crime or criminal breach of trust, and jailed, even for one day.

SPR holders who forged documents for her application for Citizenship application.

SPR holders who stay overseas for more then 3 years consecutively....

Just to reiterate abit, fresh SPR holders are given 5 years entry permit, which are to be reviewed before the end of the fifth year, to grant you a longer duration, of 10 years.

Christopher Lee is a SPR right? he was jailed a month and fined $4,500 by a district court for his drink-driving + hit n run case. his drink-driving + hit n run a criminal crime? if he go inside jail, his SPR gone case?

what is the review procedure? is it a simple review? any documentation submission? or they base on the person passport record In and Out of Spore?

Hey bro Roflmaoxz,

Not sure you still remember me..

After 9 months of waiting, my wife has just been granted SPR 2 days ago.

To think that she was not allowed to enter Singapore even for a short term visit (she has records) then I had to see MP for help..... and now she is finally a SPR.

But then, the real help comes from you and the bros here.... thanks alot!!!

My viet gf also got a record.... and this is a damn GREAT piece of news...

I believe it is not just 9 mths of waiting for SPR. How long and how much trouble exactly you and your wife been through since the day she step ito Sillypore again?

Well... u r right.. it's not only that 9 months of waiting... it is the anxiety to get her step to Singapore that is most difficult to me then.

Also, I didnt hae high hope of her getting SPR so soon as she has record, she has no education certificate, a farmer background and not pregnant yet. Usually I thot this would take years for SPR to approve...

But anyway, i wish you good luck too.. do not lose hope.. i am sure the bros here can advise better than a lot of real lawyers... ( I once arrange to see a lawyer but he shoved me off saying that my wife has no chance to come to singapore due to her record).... now he ate his word! hehehe
