I think there are other options but more under the radar. In particular on bathlover (Google it) the thais are raving about vientiane on a daily basis. But... they are raving in thai and Google translate sucks so I dont understand what they are saying most of the time. It seems that their play areas are out of the sithong area though and may be a couple of km from the city center. Maybe you can check them out and see if you catch some ball haha. They sound like they have damn good Intel.

There's a right turn just past the Inpeng complex with a little restaurant that does karaoke. The girls here are fun at 500,000.
Back on the main road there is a rough looking building with a karaoke sign. The mamasan here will look after you and the girls are very friendly. 200000 basic short time, negotiate BJ. I have taken two girls at the same time on several visits and it has been very good. Action in a hotel behind the place.

There are plenty chicken shacks and girls outside shops on the right further along, but they are not my scene. I like to socialise a bit before the main event.

Just before the Inpeng complex are a couple of small restaurants. One has karaoke and very cute hostesses, but I was hustled to buy a 100000 lady drink and then quoted 4 million for the night! No thanks🤣

Can you explain how the Inpeng night club and KTV works? I have never been to this kind of place before, and would like to know the procedure and prices before I go in.

The rough Karaoke building not in the map...pass Inpeng Hotel and Resort, keep looking on the right. There are a few chicken shacks and girls outside shops. This place has an entrance with a door and a big sign saying Karaoke. There's a big building behind which is being torn down. Looks a little bit scary, but it's a good place.
There are usually girls outside, but if no, just go in. The mamasan will fix you up. Buy some drinks and maybe some food for you and the girl, then talk money and head to the hotel behind the derelict building. If you want two girls, that's ok. I never have enough money for three 😉

I had good fun in both these places.

I checked out bathlover but seems like local thai like the hannoi (restaurant where you drink and eat with girls) more. I can only speak a little Thai and almost zero Lao so feel like this option is too awkward.

Willing to try some viet or china spa and massage but worried about theft cause I heard stories about viet girls in cambodia and myanmar stealing

But the shacks around sithong and inpeng are they safe? If there's police or underage there I feel not so safe.

Prorstitution is illegal in Laos. Non-Lao citizens having sex with Lao nationals unless you are married to them. There is always a risk.

The age of consent for Lao girls is 15, and it's not unusual to find girls that age in the sex industry.

Always ask a girl her age, and ask for ID if you're not sure.

As far as I can work out, the police get kickbacks from all of the shops, so normally nobody wants trouble.

Over Pi Mai there were masses of police along Khamphengmueng Road to catch drunk drivers, but the fun still happened all along the road, so the locals weren't scared.

Occasionally the Lao government gonna show it's teeth with a shakedown, but it's not gonna be often, and the shops probably gonna know anyway.

Punt responsibly, treat everyone with respect - especially the girls - and enjoy what Vientiane has to offer.

I am aware of those shacks around the Inpeng area, there are plentiful actually. There are also some, fronting as bars/pubs, and you can pick up ladies and bring them to a nearby hourly hotel. This modus operandi is very similar to the ones I previously mentioned (the bars/pubs near US Embassy). In fact, this MO of picking up local ladies can be applied to anywhere around Vientiane. The only issue is - you need to speak basic Laos/Thai. I wont go into detail about pricing, as prices differ depending on each girl. But expect about 200k to 400k for ST and a 2 hour hotel booking at approx. 100k.

Last night, I took a drive right up to Inpeng instead. Asked the papasan to show me the ladies and as it was late (about 11pm, it was almost time for last call. I came before at 12pm and was told "ladies already gone home").
Viewed 3 ladies, picked one and paid 620k. (500k for girl fee + 120k for room). Was ushered to one of those rooms within the "Inpeng Resort Hotel" and nothing much to report. As usual, girl does very little BBBJ and the FJ was nothing to shout about. Only plus points were - the room was very clean and bedsheets and towel smelt nice and clean. Also, similarly to other hourly hotels, pls bring your own soap.

I was at Inpeng myself for the Karaoke option last night...I agree. Nice room but service very ordinary.

I had a look around the US Embassy a while back looking for the place you mentioned, but couldn't find anything...any chance you could pm me the location? I like a bit of variety!

Actually it was a bit crazy last night! I got to Khamphengmueng road very early - 7.30 and so I had a plate of fried rice at one of the restaurants on the he road. Two sweet young things, obviously working girls, came in to eat, and we kept making eye contact and smiling. We finished at the same time, and I paid their bill for them which they were happy about. I let them go and rode along the road killing time.

On the way back I saw them sitting outside one of the shops. They waved at me so I pulled over. Normally I don't go with the girls outside the shops because I like to have a few drinks with them before playtime. But we had connected before, so I took both of them to a hotel. China influence is even bigger now. You see them literally everywhere, spoiling the market like what they did elsewhere around the region. Other than that.. Nothing fancy only your usual farms, limited spa and super ex ktv. You have to lower your expectations there then it will be OK and don't expect services like. From their neighbours country. High chance deadfish w no BJ.
