Yes really unfortunate. IMHO, the heyday of Cat 3 is really in the 90s, when internet is still at an infancy and the only chance at peeking at your favourite actresses nude is via VCD or by short downloaded clips.

Subsequently I felt there was a short revival in the early 2010s for titles such as 3D豪情, 3D肉蒲团之极乐宝鉴 (Sex and Zen 3D), 一路向西 (Due West) and 蜜桃成熟時３３Ｄ (33D Invader). However it's not enough to compete with the Koreans and certainly not enough against other more hardcore alternatives such as JAV streaming porn sites. Heck even JAV got it's own competition against Chinese and Taiwan AV now.
