if play defensive n grab 1 pt, i wouldnt hv mind lah.

prob is, we dun have d quality to play offensive. our squad seem to hv more defensive than offensive players! in d end there wasnt that someone special to bail us out of trouble!!!

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Stay up just to watch the match. Went to work a tired and dishearted man. Wat the hell... Ngog simply couldn't make it. True pass to him and he just hold the ball till Gallas have a chance to clear it from him. Torres would have converted it to a goal, like what he did against Man U.

Babel should have started in place of that Ngog, at least when he came in as a sub, the game got a bit livelier.

Haiz... haiz... haiz....

is y'day line-up defensive? i thot rafa played the usual 4-2-3-1?

i don't think we should sent out an offensive team and tried to play beautiful football against arsenal at emirates, we'll be playing to THEIR strength.. and we'll never match their offensive game..

we actually battled hard, thou definitely not beautifully.. i won't say we r unlucky, but luck certainly not with us (when r our luck going to change? we can't be suay for teh whole season, rite??).. the crossbar, the hand ball incident.. we might even won the game or at least grab a draw, if things went our way..
bear in mind tat for so many times, some teams had always benefit from such luck and referee decision, it does make a big difference..

He got buggered by Gallas as he was about to shoot!!! If only he could run faster....then again, what can he do to deserve playing as our centre forward?

Thats why I have been commenting that there's probably something not quite right with Rafa these days in his team selection. Kuyt on the right when he should have started as centre forward. Lucas in the centre when he should be sitting on his arse on the sub's bench. Degen coming in when he could have brought on Riera instead and moved Rodriguez to the right wing so that we had more width...

Sorry bros, I have lost confidence in Rafa. He buys Aquilani for some twenty million pounds and does not play him...wtf!!! I've read recently that an Indian Businessman is interested in buying into the Club by taking a 51% stake. I hope that is successful so that the debt problems can be eased and we have funds for team building and the new stadium.

If that happens, I also hope to see a change of manager...my humble view is that Rafa has lost the plot in his team selection, which translates to the overall poor showing on the pitch. Just because he brought us the 2005 CL throphy does not by itself deserve a long tenure as manager of our great football club, especially when he is screwing around with players and their natural positions and his team selection is suspect!!!!

I wonder if the Club owners or management have to wait until we have lost fourth place before deciding to be rid of Rafa??? Or perhaps they just don't give a toss?!!! Either way, the rot is starting to set in...In Rafa we trust? Initially yes...but of late...NO!

My CNY wish for the year of the tiger....Yanks OUT, Rafa OUT. Let the rebuilding begin with new owners and a new manager!!!
here we go again we lose one match n u guys want rafa out,

Ya, now it's becoming fashionable to complain about AA.

I'm actually happy Maxi has slotted well into the team, nothing great so far but playing it simple and settling in with the play, a solid start for him.

Yes but there is a big defence between starting and coming on as a sub. We have all been deeply let down by Babel before when he has started.

But agreed he has been better in his last two subs. Who knows, he might be able to play his way into the team be it on the wing or attack.

The Reds play Unirea Urziceni on Friday morning in the Europa League.
I realli hope tat Rafa do not pay 2 much attention 2 these games in the Europa League.
A top 4 finish in the EPL is more important.

hope tat he'd realised tat the only way to get into the team is to train hard, play hard while given ur chance and show better attitude..
he should have learnt from benayoun, or even agger who only recently returned to the team after out of favour for a long period of time since his injury...

Oops , I may be outdated, that day I took a chance to view a soccer match of that Bundelinga (did I spell it right?) which I seldom watch....that Van Neilsteroy was scoring like mad..why he didn't join Liverpool? or Liverpool has no money to maintain him ka? We need a good striker, not deploying Ngog who can not shoot well, usually outplayed by the defenders.

BTW, why that jinx Lucas is still being played huh?
