you can try to get the ROM package from Love That Binds which is located at the ROM building itselt.

I got my ROM date within 3 weeks when I wife arrive S'pore.

rem my friend took this option and it was done within 3 weeks.
with the print out of confirm date,its almost 100% to get visa or no prob entering at custom.

advise needed, i am getting married soon with my 2 years steady gf and intend to get her to come and stay with me after we got married,however,she has broken a law in other country before not not here, what are the chances of getting her to stay here? shld i declare or not declare? Does ica have access to the records of other country's criminal profiles? kind brothers out there pls advise... thanks... really in a dilemna now

I kind of worried now cos' the letter says to proceed to "Investigation Branch"

wow.. they went our home, left the letter there... they even went to my office and left their name/contact number... even called me after office hours. scary la.... its like wife have done some thing wrong..

Indeed this is an option but you need to spend a little more money though as you need to book their packages ranging from 200 up I think, throw in a buffet and you get a simple but nice wedding party. There are many packages to choose from but mainly depending the availability of the venues and dates. Friends did it there before, pretty fast, unlike ROM where you need to pre book your date and time as well. Hassle free, swift and convenient.

there's a list of authorised solomisers.. look thru the list closest to you and check with them the available date. Some can do it within weeks of notice.

I think ICA not so onmipresent can get such infomation but then again onus is on you to declare as if never declare then you can be charged with false declaration next time if this matter comes to light....LPPL catch 22 situation

So what is the advice? to declare or not declare? really in a dilemna, if declare, i know submitting the form is as gd as don't submit as the chances are almost zero, do ica have access to criminal records of criminals of all over the world? don't think so right? it is country's confidential info rite?

PR application ... some got it very fast, some wait till neck long long also no reply ...

I applied for my wife 3 months ago, still nothing from ICA. Gonna call them tomorrow to see what happened ... Sigh

No updates yet. the "interview" is on Monday morning 26/Nov

I applied TWICE within 1.5 years, on my 2nd try.. I just received a letter from ICA on the rejection 2 weeks agp. Just few days ago, they came knocking at our door and request for PR INTERVIEW ??!!??!! Weird right ......

Any way, wife is very worried she's in some sort of trouble - she has not gone into trouble with the law before - plus we have NEVER heard of a "PR Interview" on the 2nd Floor ... I thought PR applications etc are ALL on the 5th floor ????
