Btw just for your info. Hope that I hear wrongly. From next month onwards, Jun. Those on social visit pass will only be given 14-28 days and no returning back ( 出境 ) to SGP within a timeframe. They have to reapply again once they returning back to mainland china. So take care.

is it true? wondering why the pass on passport is 30 days while they still have to do "multiple visits" to extend their visa since they only chopped '14 days' on their passports.

Although the visa application states 30 days. They might give them 14 days upon arrival to SGP. Den they need to exit out of SGP and rtn back to get extend another 14 days. Now I think they stop this method of re-entering now. Need to gather more info on this.

What if say the GF has no education ?

would the application for LTSVP or PR be granted (in due course, maybe after multiple tries) ?

NgiaoCi, are you refering to your gerfrd or you wife? If you wants to apply PR for your wife, it would be essential to let her attend useful courses which are approved by govt. Example will be from ITE, PSC. If your first try is rejected, I advise you to seek your neighbourhood MP first, wait for him/her to write a letter to ICA. Wait for ICA's reply to inform you to apply agian. Chances will be greater.

i am bringing out a gal to M'sia this coming sat for extension. guess later i will call ica for more info.

• Entry Visa and Social Visit Passes

I have a friend, to do it he reported his income higher by 2.5 times for 2 years (add self employed) and later ....in trouble, bring in the wife, then medisave comes after him and finally income tax.

I can say that yours is a method but very unwise way of doing. He is digging his own grave for buying a big hat for his small-size head. So what his wife is getting the PR? Will end up die 2gether.
