I know some one who is a total bankrupt for 3 years, No CPF contribution RECENTLY divorced and have only a primary 6 education and YET he got married and got his PRC wife her PR status. (double standards from ICA ?)

Haiz...yr case is bcos this is a uncle 40+ and I believe it few months back liao,almost a yr right....now new rules have set, it not easy to get PR status.

Different, my LTSVP approved by MOM is for degree holder, yr extention is for married wife 1, that under ICA approval....due to husband endorsement. Yr colleague how old liao plus his wife age?

Ya...it called LT-PASS for foreign degree holder to come to singapore...once approve, he/she been spare btwn 6 to 12mths to search for jobs....under MOM. After that, Employment Pass will be issued....Haiz, even jobs nowsadays also hard liao.

If overstayers if you harbour them whether you intentionally or unintentionally (renting out to them without due diligence) then flat is liable to be confiscated.

Hmm will those owners be willingly to rent out their rm for just 1 mths only? I dont mean those that had a few ladies staying together in a rm and cost ard S$12 each. Sorry still quite new and green to all this.

Think no one wants to rent out 1 month so hassle.......short term 1 month can try service apartments or book budget hotel 1 month discounted rates
