My wife didn't even complete Pri Sch. I crossed my fingers from the moment I submitted the application till it cramped 5 months later ..... ha ha ha

I have been contributing CPF and Income Tax for more than 10 yrs, and of course think luck also play an important part.

Under HDB regulation, to buy a resale flat at least one of the applicant must be a citizen if you are buying under the following scheme:

Single Singapore Citizen Scheme
Joint Singles Scheme
Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme
Non-Citizen Family Scheme
Orphans Scheme

For the other scheme:

Public Scheme
Fiancé/Fiancée Scheme
Citizen/SPR Siblings Scheme

which require at least two applicant, they must be either a citizen or PR.
