generally speaking, the rates will be higher to change while in singapore than in JB.
i changed 239 at golden mile,, but in JB only 237..

Hi Bro, may I know which part of JB did you did your exchange.... also if you change when the banks are off line the rates will be on the 'kiasu' mode to be in the money changer favour.

Another factor to consider, is the distance between GM and JB worth the extra? Should consider the safety factor..... Woodland also offer very good rates.... maybe should have a bro staying in Wood land to provide live update? Thanks and hope a bro will stand up...... thank you mak mak...

bro etct88, i change at nusa bestari, skudai.
and yes, woodlands have good rates too.

GM is tat Saturday i happened to go down to book a KL trip, so changed there when i heard the rate was 239. Bcos i remembered on Fri, i saw in skudai was only 237.

if u guys need the rates in skudai, maybe i can provide daily 'sighting' for all bros. Haha..
Saw in another thread abt happenings in Skudai, so maybe some bros come to skudai often?

Went to JB on Sat. Walked past more than 5 changers at different locations and all of them quote the same rate. Wonder is there some sort of agreement.
