The pair stayed in a one-bedroom villa, complete with its own private pool and enjoyed chauffeured rides and romantic dinners. But on June 12, he was found dead in the $800-a-night villa. The 24-year-old woman, Ms Luo Yuesha, was unconscious and frothing at the mouth. Indonesian media said the police were treating the case as an attempted double suicide. A check of Registry of Marriages records showed Mr Chuan was married here to a different woman in 1992. Read the full report in our print edition on June 25.
