Dear The Real Singapore,
A sinkhole was formed along 19 Harper Road after a heavy shipping container parked there illegally at around 9am on 26 June 2014.
I work nearby and I saw one of the legs of the container sank into the road, and the entire container tipped to the side.
At first the container was only tipped slightly, but as time goes by it is tilting more and currently only has a tree holding it up.
If the tree breaks, the whole container is going to fall onto the cars in the carpark of the building."
The whole road has been closed and there are police on either side.
Made it inconvenient for road users, holding up the traffic.
It's been at least about 4 hrs yet it's still not cleared.
By law they are not supposed to park the container there, but I have been seeing different types and different coloured containers everyday!
I tried talking to some of the drivers but they are all foreign workers and they just simply ignored our words and continue doing what they are doing.
I've already complained to the LTA but still everyday I still see them there.
And today this thing happened...
Very disappointed by LTA for not taking my words seriously. See this is what happened.

Sharon
