Thumbs up National Stadium pitch fiasco Aussie director allowed to resign.

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Truly, stupid PAP cocksuckers in charge of the national stadium project are really angmo cock worshippers. Why was this asshole allowed to resign? Why was he not fired? After such an international fiasco including endangering the Brazilian national football team by having them play on an unplayable pitch, still no heads rolled? Not only should this Aussie shit in charge of the pitch been fired, he should also be sued to recover his pay. I am sure he was in violation of his employment contract by working in India at the same time. In singapore, angmo can do no wrong.

[UPDATE: Friday 5th Dec, 6pm]
Sports Hub senior director Greg Gillin has reportedly tendered his resignation just 18 months into his job, reports Singapore tabloid The New Paper. The Australian had been hired to oversee the pitch installation at the new National Stadium. But within three months of joining SHPL in April 2013, Gillin was hired as a pitch consultant for the Indian Super League (ISL), as Yahoo writer Michael Ang writes below. The Australian soon became a frequent flyer to India, visiting ten sports centres, eight of which were eventually selected as ISL stadiums. This year, from May to October alone, Gillin “made around 120 visits to the eight venues”to ensure that they met international standards". The state of Singapore's National Stadium pitch has been under severe scrutiny since its launch this year.
