I got an question if u are tested for Chlamydia or Gonorrhea..what will they do? Broadcast to your spouse,family and do contact tracing ?? Sorry for noob questions

I think will just provide treatment accordingly. It is just a normal disease why broadcasting? Doctors won't be so free to do all this interfering your privacy.
Unless it is HIV which may need reporting and/or tracing, I'm not sure what is the procedure if tested positive for HIV. Quote:
