Yea I thought if you open a bank account there they should give an atm card? Then no point sia… once bring back slightly over 20mil also kena fined by the customs… f sia now go there everytime declare very troublesome.

What are your solutions if u bring few K SGD over each time?

You are allowed to bring up to USD 5k foreign currencies lah...change in Vietnam...actually bring more than USD5k they dun bother...just cannot bring more than 15mil dong....

Do you know withdraw cash from ATM, Vietnam banks there are small charges each time...

Some local banks still practised lnch time close till 1pm etc...

Oh ok so if I come back left few k in SGD they could not fine me already right… yea the notice board indicated cannot bring more than 15mil VND out.

Not accurate. You can bring in more than 15M vnd but you need to declare although there is no entry form so I don’t know where to declare but you definitely can bring in just declare.

VND30m? No need to declare lah. I often bring more than that. You only need to declare if you're carrying much higher. If I remember correctly it's more than USD10k, which is like VND 250m

Need by law but you can always take chances at most they confiscate the cash and fine. It’s 5k usd in foreign currency or 15m vnd

VND15m is really not much, about SGD800 only.
